The New England Patriots’ quarterback reached the milestone on a 16-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Brandon LaFell in the first quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Miami Dolphins.

Brady has now thrown for 10,005 yards with 72 touchdowns and 26 interceptions in his career. He is the fifth-fastest player to reach 10,000 passing yards, behind only Dan Marino (10 seasons), Peyton Manning (11), Brett Favre (11) and Drew Brees (11).

The 36-year-old Brady is currently in his 14th NFL season and is coming off one of his best statistical performances of his career, throwing for 4,109 yards with 33 touchdowns and nine interceptions while leading the Patriots to a 12-4 record and a berth in the AFC Championship game.
