Who Is The Most Injured NFL Team?

The Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been the most injured team in the NFL for the past three seasons. In 2016, they had the most players on injured reserve with 29. In 2017, they had 28 players on IR, and in 2018, they had 27. That’s an average of 28.3 players per season.

Ben Roethlisberger

Ben Roethlisberger is an American football quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Miami University, and was drafted by the Steelers in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft.

Le’Veon Bell

Le’Veon Bell is an All-Pro running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Michigan State, and was drafted by the Steelers in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Bell was a first-team All-Pro selection in 2014 after leading the NFL in rushing yards (1,341) and finishing second in rushing touchdowns (eight). He missed most of the 2015 season due to a suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. He returned in 2016 to rush for 1,268 yards while catching 75 passes for 616 yards, earning him his second consecutive Pro Bowl selection. He also received first-team All-Pro honors for his performance that season.

Antonio Brown

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a lot of depth at the wide receiver position, but they took a big hit when star player Antonio Brown was diagnosed with a concussion. Brown is one of the most talented and productive receivers in the NFL, and his absence will be felt by the team. Other key players who are dealing with injuries include running back Le’Veon Bell, linebacker Ryan Shazier, and offensive lineman Marcus Gilbert.

The Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers have been the most injured team in the NFL over the past few seasons. This is due to a number of factors, including their style of play and the number of players they have on the roster. Let’s take a look at the Packers’ injury history and see if we can identify any patterns.

Aaron Rodgers

The Green Bay Packers have been a force to be reckoned with in the NFL for many years. But this season, they have been hit hard by injuries, particularly to their star quarterback, Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers has missed seven games this season due to a broken collarbone, and the Packers have struggled to find a replacement who can match his level of play. In his absence, the team has gone 3-4.

The Packers are not the only team to be decimated by injuries this season. The New York Giants, for example, lost four wide receivers to season-ending injuries in just one week.

But when it comes to injuries, no team has been hit harder than the Green Bay Packers. And with Rodgers set to miss even more time, it doesn’t look like things are going to get any better anytime soon.

Randall Cobb

Randall Cobb (born August 22, 1989) is an American football wide receiver and return specialist for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Kentucky, where he earned All-American honors. The Packers selected him in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. During his rookie season, Cobb set the Packers franchise record for most all-purpose yards in a season and was named the PFWA All-Rookie of the Year.

Cobb was born in Alcoa, Tennessee. He attended Alcoa High School, where he played football and ran track. In football, he played running back and wide receiver; as a junior in 2006, he helped lead his team to a state championship with 1,313 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns. In track & field, Cobb was one of the state’s top performers in both sprinting and jumping events; he ran personal-best times of 10.71 seconds in the 100-meter dash and 21.64 seconds in the 200-meter dash at the 2007 TMSAA State Championships, where he placed 4th and 6th respectively.[1] He also recorded a personal-best jump of 6.71 meters (22 ft 0 in) in the long jump at the 2008 TMSAA State Championships, where he placed 2nd.[2]

Jordy Nelson

Green Bay Packers receiver Jordy Nelson suffered a season-ending knee injury in the team’s preseason game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Packers say Nelson tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee on the second-to-last play of the first quarter Saturday night.

Nelson will have surgery next week. He was injured when he landed hard on his right knee while trying to make a catch on a deep pass from Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks have been the most injured team in the NFL for the last three seasons. In 2015, they had the most total injuries of any team, and in 2016, they had the most injuries to starters. 2017 was a little better for the Seahawks, but they still had the second most injuries in the NFL.

Russell Wilson

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson was the most injured player in the NFL last season, according to a study by the Athletic.

The study found that Wilson missed more games due to injury than any other player in the league, and that he was also the most likely player to be injured during the season.

The report comes as no surprise to Seahawks fans, who have seen Wilson miss significant time due to injuries in each of the past two seasons.

In 2017, Wilson missed four games due to a calf injury and a sprained ankle. Last season, he missed three games with a hamstring injury and one with a knee injury.

The report also found that Seattle’s offensive line was the most injured unit in the NFL last season.

Kam Chancellor

Kam Chancellor is a former NFL safety who played his entire career for the Seattle Seahawks. He was drafted by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. As a rookie, he started all 16 games and was a key member of the “Legion of Boom” defense that led the Seahawks to a victory in Super Bowl XLVIII.

During his eight-year career, Chancellor was selected to four Pro Bowls and was named first-team All-Pro twice. He helped the Seahawks win 10 or more games in six of his eight seasons and was a key contributor to their Super Bowl XLIX and XLVIII victories.

In 2017, Chancellor suffered a serious neck injury that ended his career. He announced his retirement from the NFL in 2019.

Earl Thomas

Earl Thomas III (born May 7, 1989) is an American football safety for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Texas, and was drafted by the Seahawks in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft.

Thomas has been selected to six Pro Bowls, and has been a First-team All-Pro three times. He has led the NFL in interceptions twice, in 2013 and 2014. In his prime, Earl Thomas was one of the NFL’s best safeties.
