The new WWE Heavyweight Champion is none other than Braun Strowman! He defeated Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 34 to become the new champion.
Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar is the new WWE Heavyweight Champion. Lesnar defeated Roman Reigns at WWE SummerSlam to become WWE Champion for the first time since 2002. Lesnar is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and is widely considered to be one of the strongest, most physically imposing athletes in the world.
Early life
Brock Edward Lesnar (/ˈlɛznər/;[1][2] born July 12, 1977) is an American professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist, currently signed to WWE as a free agent. He is a four-time WWE (World Heavyweight) Champion, a one-time UFC Heavyweight Champion, and the 2002 King of the Ring. He was also the 2003 Royal Rumble winner, making him the youngest Royal Rumble winner in history at age 25.[3]
Lesnar started his college career as a freshman at Bismarck State College wrestling on their junior varsity team. In his second year, he transferred to Division I University of Minnesota on scholarship where he compiled a 106–5 record and won the National Championship in 2000.[8][9] He became heavyweight champion in both years that he competed.[10] Lesnar was also a two-time NCAA All-American.[11][12] After a stint in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), where he first made his name wrestling undercard matches while wearing a mask as “Ministry of Darkness” character Mr. Whitney,[13][14] Lesnar signed with WWE (then known as World Wrestling Federation) in 2000.[15][16]
Amateur wrestling
Lesnar started amateur wrestling at Bismarck State College at the urging of his coach, scott Morris. He was a two-time NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion (2000, 2001), and a one-time NCAA runner up (1999). In 2000, he won the NCAAs, setting an attendance record in the process. A year later he repeated as champion, and became only the second heavyweight wrestler in NCAA history to do so. He is also a one-time junior college national champion, winning the NJCAA championship in 1998. Lesnar has broken numerous athletic Records.

He is a four-time WWE (World Heavyweight) Champion, a UFC Heavyweight Champion, and was the 2002 NCAA heavyweight wrestling champion. Lesnar began his professional wrestling career in 2000 with WWE, where he performed until 2004. He was then assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), where he held the OVW Hardcore Championship once.

It is one of the two world titles in WWE, alongside the WWE Universal Championship that was created for the Raw brand as a result of the 2016 WWE draft. The current champion is Drew McIntyre, who is in his first reign.

Roman Reigns is the current WWE Heavyweight Champion. He Won the title at Wrestlemania 32 in Dallas, Texas.

After a brutal and hard fought match, Lesnar has become the new WWE Heavyweight Champion. This is Lesnar’s second time winning the title, with his first victory coming back in 2002. Lesnar is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, and is currently signed to WWE as a part-time performer.
Strowman
Braun Strowman is an American professional wrestler and former strongman currently signed to WWE on the Raw brand. In WWE, Strowman is a one-time WWE Universal Champion and one-time WWE Raw Tag Team Champion. He has also won the 2017 Men’s Royal Rumble and the 2020 Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
New WWE Heavyweight Champion
The New WWE Heavyweight Champion is Drew McIntyre. McIntyre won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36, defeating Brock Lesnar in the main event. This marks McIntyre’s first WWE Championship reign, and makes him the first Scot to win the WWE Championship.

He played college football at Georgia Tech, where he was recognized as an All-American, and was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL) in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL Draft. As a member of the WWE main roster, Reigns is a three-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, a one-time United States Champion, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, and a one-time WWE Tag Team Champion (with Rollins). He has headlined multiple pay-per-view events for WWE, including WrestleMania 32 in 2016.
Strowman
On the October 22 episode of Raw, Strowman defeated Lesnar in a No Holds Barred match to win the WWE Championship, marking his first singles championship reign in WWE.
