As of September 2018, the highest paid quarterback in the NFL is Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. He is currently in the second year of a four-year, $134 million contract extension that he signed in 2018. In total, Rodgers will earn $180 million over the course of his career, which makes him the highest paid player in NFL history.
Russell Wilson
Russell Wilson is the highest paid quarterback in the NFL. He signed a four-year, $140 million extension with the Seattle Seahawks in 2019 that includes a $65 million signing bonus and a no-trade clause.
Ben Roethlisberger
With an annual salary of $35 million, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is the highest-paid player in the NFL. Roethlisberger’s salary is nearly $10 million more than the second-highest-paid quarterback, Green Bay Packers star Aaron Rodgers.

Cam Newton is the NFL’s highest-paid quarterback, with an annual salary of $20 million. He is followed by Drew Brees, who makes $19.7 million per year.
