Who Is The Number One QB in the NFL?
It’s a debate that has been going on for years, and it doesn’t seem like there is a clear answer. Who is the number one QB in the NFL?
Tom Brady
There are a lot of great quarterbacks in the NFL, but there is only one Tom Brady. He has been the number one quarterback in the league for many years and shows no signs of slowing down.
Brady was born in San Mateo, California, and played college football at the University of Michigan. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. In his first season as a starter, he led the Patriots to a Super Bowl win over the heavily favored St. Louis Rams.
Brady has gone on to win five more Super Bowls, appearing in a total of nine. He has also been named Super Bowl MVP four times, tying him with Joe Montana for the most all time. In addition to his on-field accomplishments, Brady is also known for his model good looks and movie star wife, Gisele Bundchen.
There is no doubt that Tom Brady is the best quarterback in the NFL today and one of the greatest of all time.
Peyton Manning
Peyton Manning is widely considered to be the best quarterback in the NFL today. He has been selected as the NFL MVP a record five times, and he has won two Super Bowls. Manning is known for his exceptional passing ability, and he holds numerous NFL records, including most passing yards and most touchdown passes in a career.
Drew Brees
Drew Brees is widely considered one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL today.
He has led the New Orleans Saints to nine playoff appearances and a Super Bowl title, and he currently holds the NFL record for most passing yards in a single season.
Brees is a two-time NFL Offensive Player of the Year and was selected to the Pro Bowl eleven times. He is also the all-time leader in passing touchdownst among active quarterbacks.
Aaron Rodgers
As of right now, there is no quarterback playing at a higher level than Packers signal caller Aaron Rodgers. Since taking over as the full-time starter in 2008, Rodgers has been one of – if not the – best quarterbacks in the NFL. He’s a two-time MVP (2011, 2014), a six-time Pro Bowler, and has led the Packers to nine straight playoff appearances, including a Super Bowl title in 2010.
In 2019, Rodgers is leading the league in touchdown passes (26) and passer rating (125.4), and is on pace to throw for over 4,700 yards. He’s also shown an incredible ability to extend plays with his legs, as he’s picked up 356 yards and three touchdowns on the ground this season. There’s simply no weakness in Rodgers’ game, which is why he’s widely considered to be the best quarterback in the NFL today.
