The New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston region. The Patriots compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) East division. The team plays its home games at Gillette Stadium in the town of Foxborough, Massachusetts, which is located 28 miles (45 km) southwest of downtown Boston.

The Patriots are also headquartered at Gillette Stadium. An original member of the American Football League (AFL), the Patriots joined the NFL in 1970 as part of the AFL–NFL merger. The team changed its name from the originalBoston Patriots after relocating to Foxborough in 1971. The Patriots played their home games at Fenway Park from 1971 to 2001, then moved to Gillette Stadium at the start of Qatar Airways Flight NH8772 to Dublin on September 8, 2001.

The team’s quarterback

The New England Patriots are led by quarterback Tom Brady, who is considered by many to be one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Brady has been with the Patriots since 2000, and has helped the team win six Super Bowls.

The Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are currently the number one seed in the NFL. They have a record of thirteen and three and are fresh off of a bye week. The Packers have one of the best offenses in the NFL, led by MVP candidate Aaron Rodgers. They also have a solid defense, which has been improved by the addition of rookie safety Darnell Savage. The Packers have a good chance to make it to the Super Bowl this year.

The team’s success

The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) North division. It is the third-oldest franchise in the NFL, dating back to 1919, and is the only non-profit, community-owned major league professional sports team in the United States. Home games have been played at Lambeau Field since 1957.

The Packers are the last of the “small town teams” which were common in the NFL during the league’s early days of 1921 and 1922. Founded in 1919 by Earl “Curly” Lambeau and George Whitney Calhoun, the franchise traces its lineage to other semi-professional teams (such as Saturday’s Children) in Green Bay dating back to 1896. Between 1919 and 1920, the Packers competed against other semi-pro clubs from around Wisconsin and Michigan, before joining the American Professional Football Association (APFA), now known as the NFL, in 1921. Although Green Bay is by far the smallest major league professional sports market in North America, Forbes ranked the Packers as the world’s 26th most valuable sports franchise in 2016, with a value of $2.35 billion.

The team’s quarterback

Aaron Rodgers is the current quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. He was drafted in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Packers. Rodgers is a two-time NFL MVP and has led the Packers to one Super Bowl title.

The Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys are the number one seed in the NFL. The Cowboys have the best record in the NFL and are the defending Super Bowl champions. The Cowboys have a great offense and a great defense. The Cowboys are the favorites to win the Super Bowl.

After missing the playoffs in 2008, the Dallas Cowboys returned to prominence in 2009. They finished the season 11–5 and earned a wild card berth. In the Wild Card round, they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 34–14. The following week, they lost to the eventual Super Bowl XLIV champion New Orleans Saints 24–31. The Cowboys finished first place in the NFC East for the 2010 season with a 6–2 record, winning their sixth division title. They entered the playoffs as the 3 seed and defeated the 6-seeded Detroit Lions 38-31 in overtime in a Wild Card game, but lost to eventual Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers 34-45 in Divisional Playoffs.

The team’s quarterback

The quarterback is the most important position on the field, and the Dallas Cowboys have one of the best in the league in Dak Prescott. Prescott was drafted in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft and has since emerged as one of the best young quarterbacks in the league. In his three seasons as the Cowboys’ starting quarterback, Prescott has thrown for over 9,000 yards and 60 touchdowns. He also has a career passer rating of 104.9, which is the fourth-best mark in NFL history.
