Ichiro Suzuki is a Japanese professional baseball outfielder for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Seattle Mariners and New York Yankees. Ichiro has established a number of batting records, including MLB’s single-season record for hits with 262, and the single-season record for base hits in a season with 190.
Jamie Moyer
At 49 years old, Jamie Moyer is currently the oldest baseball player in the majors. He made his debut with the Chicago Cubs in 1986, and has since pitched for eight different teams. He was inducted into the Mariners Hall of Fame in 2015.
Julio Franco
Julio Franco is the oldest baseball player right now. He is a former player who is currently serving as a coach for the Atlanta Braves. Franco was born in 1958 and he played for several teams during his career, including the Braves, the Cleveland Indians, the Chicago White Sox, and the Texas Rangers. He also had a brief stint with the Tampa Bay Rays in 2007. Franco retired from playing in 2007, but he came back to serve as a coach for the Braves in 2016.
