Rice went on to have a legendary career with the 49ers, setting multiple franchise records while helping the team win three Super Bowls. He also played for the Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks during his 20-year NFL career.
Rice retired from football in 2004 at the age of 42. He remains the NFL’s all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdown receptions. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2010.
