Luke Kuechly- 6’3
Luke Kuechly, linebacker for the Carolina Panthers, is the shortest linebacker in the NFL. Standing at 6’3″, Kuechly is two inches shorter than the next shortest linebacker, Deion Jones of the Atlanta Falcons. Despite his relatively short stature, Kuechly has been extremely successful in the NFL, earning Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors multiple times.
Telvin Smith- 6’3
Telvin Smith is an American football linebacker for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Florida State University, and was drafted by the Jaguars in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Smith stands at 6’3″, making him one of the shorter linebackers in the NFL.
Vontaze Burfict- 6’1
At 6’1″, Vontaze Burfict is the shortest linebacker currently playing in the NFL. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2012 NFL Draft and has been with the team ever since. In his six seasons with the Bengals, he has been selected to the Pro Bowl three times and has been named a First-team All-Pro once.
Deion Jones- 6’1
Deion Jones is the shortest linebacker currently playing in the NFL. At 6’1″, he is tied with Tampa Bay’s Lavonte David for the title of shortest linebacker. Despite his lack of height, Jones has been a force to be reckoned with on the field. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2nd round of the 2016 NFL Draft and has been selected for the Pro Bowl twice, in 2016 and 2018.
C.J. Mosley- 6’2
C.J. Mosley is the current shortest linebacker in the NFL, standing at only 6’2″. He currently plays for the Baltimore Ravens. He was drafted in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Alabama.
