Nikita Kucherov

Nikita Kucherov of the Tampa Bay Lightning currently leads the NHL in points. Kucherov has 97 points in 63 games played so far this season. He is followed by Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks who has 95 points in 65 games played.

Tampa Bay Lightning

Nikita Kucherov currently leads the NHL in points, having tallied up 89 so far this season. The Tampa Bay Lightning right winger is having a phenomenal year, thanks in part to his strong partnership with fellow linemate Steven Stamkos. The two have helped the Lightning to the best record in the league, and they look poised to make a deep run in the playoffs. Kucherov is a dangerous scorer who is not afraid to take on defenders one-on-one, and he has the vision and passing ability to set up Stamkos for some easy goals. With both players firing on all cylinders, the Lightning are a force to be reckoned with.
