Who Leads The NFL In Passing Touchdowns 2021?
Though the season is not yet over, the leading contenders for the title of NFL’s passing touchdown leader are Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Tom Brady and Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Rodgers.
Tom Brady
Tom Brady currently leads the NFL in passing touchdowns for the 2021 season. He has thrown for 28 touchdowns so far this season.
Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers has been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL for many years now, and he is once again leading the league in passing touchdowns with 36 so far in 2021. He is on pace to have one of the best seasons of his career, and he looks poised to lead the Packers to another deep playoff run.
Dak Prescott
Dak Prescott is an American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He played college football at Mississippi State University.
In his rookie season, Prescott took over as the Cowboys’ starting quarterback after Tony Romo was injured in the preseason. Prescott led Dallas to an NFC-best 13–3 record and was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. He set numerous franchise and league rookie records, including most passing yards, most passing touchdowns, and most rushing yards by a quarterback in a season. In 2017, he helped Dallas return to the playoffs after a one-year absence, but they were defeated in the divisional round by eventual Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles. The following season, Prescott was voted to his first Pro Bowl after throwing for 3,885 yards and 22 touchdowns.
In 2019, he suffered a season-ending compound fracture and dislocation of his right ankle in a Week 5 game against the New York Giants. Despite missing ten games due to injury, Prescott was selected for his second Pro Bowl. He became first player in NFL history to throw for 4,000 yards in each of his first four seasons as well as being just one of eight quarterbacks to win at least 10 games in each of their first four seasons.
Russell Wilson
As of week 12, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson leads the NFL in passing touchdowns with 36. That’s two more than second-place Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, who has 34. Wilson is also the league leader in passing yards, with 3,292.
Josh Allen
Josh Allen currently leads the NFL in passing touchdowns with 37. He is followed by Patrick Mahomes with 36, and then Tom Brady with 35.
