Who Leads The NFL In Touchdown Receptions?

We take a look at which NFL players have the most touchdown receptions so far this season.

Antonio Brown

Antonio Brown is an American football wide receiver and punt returner for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Central Michigan University, and was drafted by the Steelers in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. Brown has been selected to seven Pro Bowls, and has led the league in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns twice each.

DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins currently leads the NFL in touchdown receptions with 11. He is closely followed by Julio Jones and Michael Thomas, who both have 10 touchdown receptions. Hopkins has had an outstanding season so far and is on pace to break the record for most touchdown receptions in a single season.

Julio Jones

As of Week 14 of the 2019 NFL season, wide receiver Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons leads the league in touchdown receptions with 10. Jones is followed by Michael Thomas of the New Orleans Saints with 9, and Chris Godwin and Davante Adams of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers, respectively, who each have 8.

Odell Beckham Jr.

With 12 touchdown receptions, Odell Beckham Jr. currently leads the NFL. The 24-year-old New York Giants wide receiver is in his fourth season in the league, and has already amassed over 4,000 receiving yards and 35 touchdowns in his career. Beckham Jr. has been named to the Pro Bowl three times and was named First-Team All-Pro in 2016. He is widely considered to be one of the best wide receivers in the NFL today, and with good reason. With his combination of speed, agility, and sure hands, Beckham Jr. is a tough player to defend against and is a major threat to score every time he touches the ball.

Davante Adams

Davante Adams is currently the leader in touchdown receptions in the NFL. With 15 touchdown catches so far this season, he is one ahead of second-place DeAndre Hopkins. Adams has been a key part of the Green Bay Packers’ offense this season, and he looks poised to finish the year as the league’s top receiver.
