Introduction

June 27, 1939, saw the inaugural induction ceremony for the Baseball Hall of Fame. Since then, Cooperstown has welcomed 354 more legends of the game. The 2020 class will be officially welcomed on July 26.
To be elected, a player must first be on a ballot for 10 years. If he receives votes on at least 75% of the ballots cast, he is inducted into the Hall.
