There are a lot of great players in the NBA, but who are the best of the best? Check out my blog post to see who I think should make the 2K NBA All-Star team.

Who Makes the 2K NBA All-Star Team?

Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets and Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors headline the 2020 NBA All-Star team. Irving, who will be making his seventh All-Star appearance, is averaging a career-high 27.4 points per game to go along with 6.4 assists and 5.2 rebounds. Curry, a two-time MVP, is averaging 20.8 points, 6.6 assists and 5.0 rebounds while shooting a league-best 49.5 percent from three-point range.

He has also played for Team USA, winning gold medals in 2014 and 2016.

All-Star Resume

Kyrie Irving was one of the best players in the NBA for a number of years, but injuries derailed his career. When he was healthy, Irving was one of the most dynamic and explosive scorers in the league. He was an All-Star in 2014 and 2015, and he was named to the All-NBA Third Team in 2014. Irving averaged 21.6 points per game during his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he helped lead them to an NBA title in 2016.

Why He Deserves a Spot

Kyrie Irving is one of the most deserving players to make the 2K All-Star team. He’s a 6-time All-Star, a former Finals MVP, and a champion. He’s also one of the best scorers in the league, averaging 27.4 points per game this season.

Irving is also a great playmaker and defender. He’s averaging 7.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game this season. His defensive rating of 103 is better than his career average of 106.

Kyrie Irving is one of the most talented players in the NBA and he deserves to be on the 2K All-Star team.

Bradley Beal

When it comes to the 2K NBA All-Star team, there are a few players who stand out above the rest. One of those players is Bradley Beal of the Washington Wizards. Beal is averaging 27.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists per game. He is also shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 36.0 percent from three-point range. When you factor in his all-around game, it’s easy to see why Beal is one of the best players in the NBA.

Shooting Guard, Washington Wizards

Bradley Beal is an American professional basketball player for the Washington Wizards of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Florida Gators before being drafted by the Wizards with the third overall pick in the 2012 NBA draft. Beal is a two-time NBA All-Star, and has been named to the All-NBA Third Team and the NBA All-Rookie First Team.

All-Star Resume

In order to make the 2K NBA All-Star team, you have to have an incredible resume. That’s exactly what Bradley Beal has.

Over his eight-year career, Beal has averaged over 20 points per game six times. He’s a two-time All-Star and was named to the All-NBA Third Team in 2019. He’s also been incredibly durable, playing in at least 78 games in six of his eight seasons.

This season, Beal is averaging a career-high 30.5 points per game while shooting a career-best 48.2 percent from the field and 45.5 percent from three-point range. He’s also dishing out 6.1 assists per game, which is the second-highest average of his career.

There’s no question that Beal deserves to be on the 2K NBA All-Star team and he should be one of the first players selected when voting opens up on January 28th.

Why He Deserves a Spot

Beal is having one of the best statistical seasons in recent memory, and his team has the fourth-best record in the NBA. The Washington Wizards shooting guard is averaging 29.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists per game while shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 37.5 percent from three-point range.

Those numbers have vaulted Beal into early MVP consideration, and he’s been especially impressive since All-Star point guard John Wall went down with a season-ending injury in late January. Since then, Beal has averaged 32.9 points, 6.2 assists and 5.4 rebounds per game while leading the Wizards to a 12-5 record.

There’s no question that Beal deserves to be an All-Star this season, but it remains to be seen if he’ll actually get voted in by the fans, media and players. He’s up against some stiff competition in the Eastern Conference, with Philadelphia 76ers star Jimmy Butler and Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo also making strong cases for inclusion on the All-Star team.
