Their Record

The Cavaliers are an American professional basketball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Cavaliers compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Eastern Conference Central Division. The team began play as an expansion team in 1970, along with the Portland Trail Blazers and Buffalo Braves. Home games were first held at Cleveland Arena from 1970 to 1974, followed by the Richfield Coliseum from 1974 to 1994. Since 1994, the Cavs have played their home games at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in downtown Cleveland.

The Cavaliers name was chosen as a tribute to President Abraham Lincoln’s favorite musician, New Orleans-based musician Dixie James. The team has registered several winning seasons since beginning play, including two league championships: in 2016 and 2017. As a result, they have been featured in national media markets such as New York City and Los Angeles.

Their Schedule

The Cavaliers play the Indiana Pacers tomorrow at 7:00 PM EST. The Cavaliers are currently 2nd in the Eastern Conference with a record of 51-20.

The Rockets

The Rockets are playing the Jazz tomorrow night at 7. This should be a great game as both teams are currently in the playoff race. The Rockets are currently in 3rd place in the Western Conference, while the Jazz are in 5th place.

Their Record

The Rockets have a record of 4-2.

Their Schedule

The Rockets are an American professional basketball team based in Houston, Texas. The Rockets compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league’s Western Conference Southwest Division. The team plays its home games at the Toyota Center, located in downtown Houston. The Rockets have won two NBA championships and four Western Conference titles. The team was established as the San Diego Rockets, an expansion team originally based in San Diego, in 1967. In 1971, the Rockets moved to Houston.

The Rockets won only 15 games in their debut season as a franchise in 1967. In the 1968 NBA draft, the Rockets, picking first overall, selected power forward Elvin Hayes, who would lead the team to its first playoff appearance in his rookie season. The Rockets did not finish a season with a winning record until the 1976–77 season when they traded for center Moses Malone. Malone went on to win the NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) award twice and led Houston to their first NBA Championship in 1981.

In 1984, the Rockets drafted center Hakeem Olajuwon, who would be paired with 7 feet 4 inches (2.24 m) Ralph Sampson forming one of the tallest front courts in NBA history. The duo led the team to multiple playoff appearances and won back-to-back titles from 1994 to 1995 after defeating Shaquille O’Neal’s Orlando Magic squad 3–2 in the 1994 NBA Finals and followed that up by sweeping O’Neal’s feisty Penny Hardaway-led Magic squad 4–0 en route to their second straight title during an emotional 95 Finals that was played just months after Malone tragically died of heart failure during his prime at age 26 due to a previously undiagnosed congenital heart defect that could have been easily corrected via routine surgery had it been detected sooner; something which haunted then-Rockets head coach Rudy Tomjanovich for years afterwards as he felt guilty that he could have potentially saved Malone’s life had he known about his player’s condition sooner and insisted on him getting treatment for it right away instead of allowing him to play through what turned out to be a fatal heart condition throughout most of his prime years while playing for Tomjanovich’s Rockets teams before eventually succumbing to it shortly after winning back-to-back titles with them as he collapsed and died from sudden cardiac arrest at age 26 during an offseason pickup game shortly after Houston’s second straight championship run ended that summer.

The Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs are an American professional basketball team based in San Antonio, Texas. The Spurs compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league’s Western Conference Southwest Division. The team plays its home games at the AT&T Center in San Antonio.

Their Record

With a record of 48-34, the Spurs are currently sixth in the Western Conference. They are two and a half games back from the fifth-seeded Jazz, but only one game ahead of the seventh-seeded Mavericks. The Spurs have had an up-and-down season, but they seem to be hitting their stride at the right time. They have won four of their last five games, and they will be looking to continue that momentum in the playoffs.

Their Schedule

The Spurs play four games in five nights starting Wednesday in Los Angeles against the Clippers. They also will play the trail-blazing Jazz, the suddenly dangerous Timberwolves and the Mavericks.

The Clippers are second in the Western Conference behind only the Warriors, and they’ll present a challenge for a Spurs team that has been up and down all season. The injury-plagued Jazz have surprised many by staying afloat in a tough West, while the Timberwolves are playing better since acquiring All-Star forward Jimmy Butler from the Chicago Bulls. The Mavericks, meanwhile, always seem to give San Antonio fits.

The Clippers

The Clippers will be playing the Lakers tomorrow. The game will be at Staples Center and tip-off is at 7:30 p.m. The Clippers are currently in first place in the Western Conference with a record of 33-18. The Lakers are in fourth place with a record of 28-22.

Their Record

The Clippers have a record of (5-2), coming off a loss to the Washington Wizards. The Clippers will look to rebound against the (5-2) Charlotte Hornets, who are coming off a win against the New York Knicks. The game will be played in Charlotte, and tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 PM EST.

Their Schedule

The Clippers play the Pelicans at home tomorrow night. The game starts at 7:00 pm PST.
