They compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) South division. The Buccaneers joined the NFL in 1976 as an expansion team, along with the Seattle Seahawks.
Jameis Winston
Jameis Winston is an American football quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted as the first overall pick by the Buccaneers in the 2015 NFL Draft. He played college football at Florida State University, where he won the Heisman Trophy in 2013.
Mike Evans
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans hauled in seven receptions for 93 yards and two touchdowns in the team’s 28-14 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football.
DeSean Jackson
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers faced the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday Night Football in Week 3 of the NFL season. The game was a rematch of last year’s Wild Card game, which the Buccaneers won 31-9.
One of the key players in the game was wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who caught two touchdown passes from quarterback Tom Brady. Jackson has been one of the most productive receivers in the NFL over the past few seasons, and he showed why on Monday night.
Jackson finished the game with five catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns, adding to his already impressive career totals. With Jackson’s performance, he became just the fifth player in NFL history to catch 50 touchdown passes and register 5,000 receiving yards.
Jackson is in his 11th season in the NFL, and he shows no signs of slowing down. At 32 years old, he is still one of the best receivers in the league, and he will continue to be a key part of the Buccaneers’ offense as they try to make a run at a Super Bowl this season.
New England Patriots
The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston area. The Patriots compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) East division. The team plays its home games at Gillette Stadium in the town of Foxborough, Massachusetts, which is located 21 miles (34 km) southwest of downtown Boston.
Tom Brady
Tom Brady is an American football quarterback for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He is one of only two players in NFL history to have won five Super Bowls (the other being defensive end Charles Haley), and he is the only player to have won them all playing for one team. Brady has also been selected for eleven Pro Bowls, more than any other quarterback in NFL history.
Rob Gronkowski
Rob Gronkowski, nicknamed “Gronk,” is an American football tight end for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arizona, winning several awards, including being named a Sporting News and CBSSports.com Freshman All-American. The Patriots drafted Gronkowski with the 42nd pick in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
Gronkowski’s first season was cut short by injury, but he returned in 2011 to set NFL records for receiving yards and touchdowns by a tight end, helping the Patriots win Super Bowl XLVI over the New York Giants. Injuries again limited Gronkowski in 2012 and 2013, but he returned to top form in 2014 and 2015, earning his fourth Pro Bowl selection in five years. He was also named First-team All-Pro for the first time in his career. During Super Bowl LI, he set another NFL record with 168 receiving yards as the Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 in overtime.
Danny Amendola
On November 23, 2009, Amendola was signed to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad. He spent time on the Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Rams practice squads before signing a one-year deal with the Patriots on March 16, 2013. Amendola was signed to replace Wes Welker, who had joined the Denver Broncos as a free agent during the offseason.
In his first season with the Patriots, Amendola caught 65 passes for 659 yards and two touchdowns. He also gained nine yards on one rushing attempt and completed one pass for 15 yards. His 65 receptions were second on the team behind Julian Edelman’s 69. Amendola was part of a duo with Julian Edelman that caught more passes than any other wide receiver tandem in 2013. They became the first Patriots wide receiver duo to each record at least 50 catches in a season since 2003, when Deion Branch and David Givens accomplished that feat.
Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins played the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football. The Patriots are one of the best teams in the NFL, and the Dolphins are one of the worst. The Patriots won the game easily, but the Dolphins showed some fight.
Jay Cutler
On September 16, 2017, the Miami Dolphins announced that Jay Cutler had been signed to a one-year contract to serve as the team’s starting quarterback following an injury to Ryan Tannehill. Cutler played college football at Vanderbilt and was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. After four seasons with Denver, he was traded to the Chicago Bears in 2009. He spent eight seasons with Chicago, playing for them from 2009 to 2016.
Jarvis Landry
Jarvis Landry is an American football wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Dolphins in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU).
