Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference North division. They are also the third-oldest franchise in the NFL, dating back to 1919, and are the only non-profit, community-owned major league professional sports team in the United States. Thursday night’s game was a resounding victory for the Packers, who won by a score of 31-24.

Wide Receiver: Adams

Adams was born on July 20, 1992, in Dallas, Texas. He attended Hebron High School in Carrollton, Texas, where he played football and ran track. As a senior in 2010, he had 47 receptions for 782 yards and 10 touchdowns. Adams also ran track, competing as a sprinter and jump student. He earned second-team all-district honors in the 100-meter dash as a junior, and was a member of the 4 × 100 m relay team that won the district championship.

Running Back: Jones

The Thursday Night NFL game featured the Green Bay Packers against the Philadelphia Eagles. One key player for the Packers was running back Aaron Jones, who had a great game.

Wide Receiver: Lockett

During the game, wide receiver Tyler Lockett had six receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown.

Running Back: Carson

Carson had a big night, leading the Seahawks in rushing with 102 yards on 25 carries and adding another 28 yards on three receptions. He was a workhorse for Seattle, accounting for nearly 60 percent of the team’s offensive touches.

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in the Thursday Night NFL game. The Patriots were led by quarterback Tom Brady, who completed 18 of 31 passes for 233 yards and one touchdown. The Rams were held to just three points, thanks in part to the Patriots’ defense, which forced two turnovers.

Wide Receiver: Edelman

Edelman played college football at Kent State from 2006 to 2008, where he logged 48 catches for 675 yards and four touchdowns in his career. He was not invited to the 2009 NFL Scouting Combine. At his pro day, he ran the short shuttle in 4.17 seconds and the three-cone drill in 6.62 seconds.

Running Back: Michel

Patriots running back Michel had a strong game on Thursday night, carrying the ball 18 times for 95 yards and a touchdown. Michel has been a key part of the Patriots’ offense this season, rushing for 707 yards and six touchdowns.

Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams played the Minnesota Vikings in the Thursday Night NFL game. The Rams won the game by a score of 38-31. This victory was crucial for the Rams, as it put them back in the lead for the NFC West division.

However, he also had a costly drop in the fourth quarter that led to an interception.

Running Back: Gurley

The Rams selected Gurley with the 10th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was the first running back to be drafted in the first round since 2012, when Trent Richardson was drafted 3rd overall by the Cleveland Browns. Gurley missed the first three games of his rookie season due to a torn ACL he suffered while playing for the University of Georgia. He made his professional debut in week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals, catching a 5-yard touchdown pass from Nick Foles in a 24–22 loss. The following week, he had his first 100-yard rushing game, rushing for 146 yards and a touchdown in a 27–6 victory over the Cleveland Browns. He finished his rookie season with 1,106 rushing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns, as well as 379 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns. Gurley was named Offensive Rookie of the Year for his performance during the 2015 season.
