Carmelo Anthony

Carmelo Kyam Anthony (born May 29, 1984) is an American professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has been named an All-Star eleven times and an All-NBA Team member ten times. He played college basketball for the Syracuse Orange, winning a national championship as a freshman in 2003. Anthony appareed in Spike Lee’s movie He Got Game.

The Denver Nuggets selected Anthony with the third overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft. In 2010, he was traded to the New York Knicks just days prior to the NBA trade deadline.
