The Eastern Conference
The Eastern Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA) is made up of 15 teams, organized in three divisions. The division winners and the team with the best record in the conference that isn’t a division winner earn a spot in the playoffs.
The Eastern Conference is currently led by the Milwaukee Bucks, who have the best record in the conference. The other division leaders are the Toronto Raptors (Atlantic), Philadelphia 76ers (Central), and Indiana Pacers (Southeast).
The players
The NBA is a professional basketball league in North America. The league is composed of 30 teams, 29 in the United States and 1 in Canada. The league was founded in 1946 as the Basketball Association of America (BAA).
The superstars
In the NBA, there are players who are considered to be the best of the best. They are the ones that have the potential to change a game single-handedly and carry their team to victory. They are the superstars.
Some of the current superstars in the league include players like LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, and Kawhi Leonard. These are players that have proven time and time again that they have what it takes to be considered one of the best in the world at what they do.
If you’re a fan of any of these players, then you know that they have the ability to put up big numbers on any given night. They’re always worth watching, because you never know when they might do something that you’ve never seen before.
The up-and-comers
There is a new generation of players taking the NBA by storm. These young up-and-comers are talented, athletic, and exciting to watch. Here are some of the players to keep an eye on in the coming years:
Jayson Tatum: Tatum was the third overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, and he has already shown that he has the potential to be a star in this league. He is a versatile player who can score, rebound, and defend. He has earned comparisons to Paul Pierce and Grant Hill.
Luka Doncic: Doncic is a Slovenian player who was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks with the third overall pick in 2018. He is a 6’7″ playmaker who can do it all on the court. He is an excellent shooter and passer, and he has the ability to take over a game.
Ben Simmons: Simmons was the first overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, but he missed all of his rookie season due to injury. He finally made his debut in 2017-18, and he immediately proved that he was worthy of being the top pick. Simmons is a 6’10” point guard who is an elite defender and rebounder. He is also an excellent playmaker.

The fans are the most important part of the NBA. They’re the ones who buy the tickets, watch the games on TV, and support the team through thick and thin. It’s the fans who make the NBA what it is today.
The die-hards
The fans who never miss a game, no matter what. They’re the ones who are always up-to-date on the latest trade rumors and player stats. They’re the ones who can rattle off endless statistics about their favorite teams and players. They live and breathe basketball.
The casuals
The casuals are the ones who tune in for the big games, or the playoffs, but don’t really follow the sport on a day-to-day basis. They might not even know all the players’ names, but they’re still die-hard fans of their team.
