Who Should I Start in Week 6 of NFL Fantasy?
It’s Week 6 of the NFL season and you’re looking at your fantasy team wondering who you should start. Look no further, we’ve got you covered.
Start ’em
The following players should be in your lineup for Week 6 of NFL Fantasy.
QB
The quarterbacks who should be started in week 6 are:
1. Tom Brady
2. Drew Brees
3. Russell Wilson
4. Patrick Mahomes
5. Matt Ryan
RB
The running back position is one of the most important in NFL fantasy football. A good running back can be the difference between winning and losing your matchup. So, who should you start in Week 6?
If you have Le’Veon Bell on your team, you should definitely start him. He’s been one of the best running backs in the league for the past few years and he’s coming off a bye week, so he should be well-rested and ready to go.
Another good option is Dalvin Cook of the Minnesota Vikings. Cook is coming off a big game in Week 5 where he ran for 146 yards and a touchdown. He also has a favorable matchup this week against the Arizona Cardinals, who have struggled against the run this season.
If you’re looking for a sleeper option, consider Peyton Barber of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Barber has been quietly putting up solid numbers this season and he has a favorable matchup this week against the Atlanta Falcons.
WR
It’s always tough to decide who to start and who to sit in fantasy football, but we’re here to help. With that said, here are our Week 6 WR start ’em, sit ’em recommendations.
Start ’em:
-DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans: Hopkins has been one of the most consistent WRs in fantasy football over the past few seasons and is currently WR10 in PPR formats. He’s facing a Cardinals defense that has given up the seventh-most fantasy points to WRs this season, so fire him up with confidence.
-Brandin Cooks, Los Angeles Rams: Cooks is coming off his best game of the season, hauling in seven receptions for 159 yards and a TD against the Seahawks. He’s currently WR15 in PPR formats and should continue to see plenty of targets in what figures to be a high-scoring affair against the Broncos.
Sit ’em:
-Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Evans was a popular preseason sleeper pick but has been a major disappointment through five weeks, ranking as just WR40 in PPR formats. He’s facing a Panthers defense that has been tough on WRs this season, so keep him on the bench for this one.
– Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys: Cooper is coming off his best game of the season but remains just outside the top 30 WRs in PPR formats. He’s facing a Jets defense that has been stingy against opposing WRs this season, so he’s best left on the bench in most leagues.
TE
There are a lot of factors to consider when trying to decide who to start in your fantasy football lineup. You need to look at things like match-ups, recent production, and injuries. For example, if you have two tight ends and one is playing against a team that has been struggling against tight ends all season, while the other is playing against a team that has been pretty stingy, you would probably start the first one.
If you’re looking for help deciding who to start at tight end in Week 6, here are a few guys that could be good options:
Evan Engram (NYG): Engram has been one of the most productive tight ends in the league so far this season. He has at least 50 yards receiving in every game and has scored four touchdowns. He also has a favorable match-up this week against the Eagles, who have given up the second most fantasy points to tight ends this season.
Rob Gronkowski (NE): Gronkowski missed last week’s game with a concussion, but he is expected to play this week against the Jets. The Jets have actually been pretty good against tight ends this season, but Gronkowski is still one of the best in the business and is always a threat to score.
Jimmy Graham (SEA): Graham has been a little inconsistent so far this season, but he does have two games with over 100 yards receiving and four touchdowns. He also has a favorable match-up this week against Dallas, who have given up the third most fantasy points to tight ends.

QB
Unfortunately, the answer to who you should start at quarterback in Week 6 of NFL fantasy football is not an easy one. In fact, there are a few different directions you could go depending on who is available on your team and who is playing against whom.
One option is to start Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys are facing the New York Jets, who have been struggling on defense lately. Additionally, Prescott has been playing well recently, so he could be a good option for your team.
Another option is to start Eli Manning of the New York Giants. The Giants are playing the Philadelphia Eagles, who have a strong defense but have been struggling offensively. Manning has also been playing well recently and could be a good option for your team.
A third option is to start Kirk Cousins of the Washington Redskins. The Redskins are playing the Carolina Panthers, who have a strong defense but have been struggling offensively. Cousins has also been playing well recently and could be a good option for your team.
Ultimately, it is up to you to decide who you want to start at quarterback in Week 6 of NFL fantasy football. Consider all of your options and make a decision based on who you think will play best.
RB
There are a lot of tough choices to make this week when it comes to who to start and who to sit in your NFL Fantasy lineup. If you’re stuck on who to start at running back, here are a few recommendations.
For starters, if you have Leonard Fournette on your team, you should definitely start him. He’s coming off a bye week and is fully healthy and ready to go against a weak Dallas Cowboys defense. He’s a must-start.
If you have Dalvin Cook on your team, you should also start him. He’s been one of the best running backs in the league so far this season and is facing a Green Bay Packers defense that has struggled against the run.
If you have Christian McCaffrey on your team, you may want to consider starting him as well. He’s coming off a great game against the New Orleans Saints and is facing a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that has given up some big games to opposing running backs.
WR
In Week 6 of NFL fantasy, you should start:
-DeAndre Hopkins, Houston Texans: Hopkins has been one of the most consistent wide receivers in the league over the past few years, and he’s off to another great start in 2019. He’s currently averaging nearly 100 receiving yards per game and has already scored four touchdowns. He should be in for another big day against the Kansas City Chiefs.
-Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons: Jones is another receiver who has been consistently great over the past few years. He’s currently averaging almost 80 receiving yards per game and has scored three touchdowns. He should be in for a big day against the Arizona Cardinals.
-Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs: Hill is one of the most explosive receivers in the league and is currently averaging over 100 receiving yards per game. He’s also scored five touchdowns so far this season. He’ll be up against the Houston Texans in Week 6, so he should be in for another big day.
TE
In fantasy football, the tight end (TE) position is a bit of a conundrum. On one hand, the top guys usually aren’t consistent enough to be relied on week in and week out. Conversely, the lower-ranked tight ends often see too little action to be viable fantasy options. In most cases, it’s best to wait until later in your draft to snag a TE. However, there are a few guys who are worth starting in Week 6.
Jimmy Graham (SEA) vs San Francisco 49ers
Graham has been one of the most consistent tight ends in the league so far this season, scoring a touchdown in three of his five games. He’s also averaging over 80 yards per game and has racked up 25 catches for 474 yards overall. The 49ers have been tough against opposing tight ends this season, but Graham is still worth starting in most cases.
Travis Kelce (KC) vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Kelce has emerged as one of Alex Smith’s favorite targets this season, catching 22 passes for 303 yards and two touchdowns. He’s coming off his best game of the year, hauling in eight catches for 128 yards and a score against the Jaguars. The Steelers have been average against tight ends this season, so Kelce should be able to produce decent numbers once again.
Julius Thomas (JAC) vs Dallas Cowboys
Julius Thomas has yet to live up to his billing this season, but he does have three touchdowns in five games. He’s also been more involved in the Jaguars’ offense lately, catching 12 passes for 116 yards over his last two contests. The Cowboys have actually been decent against tight ends this year, but Thomas is still worth starting if you’re desperate for TE help.
