Official NFL Sponsors
The National Football League has many sponsors, some of which are official sponsors while others are just official suppliers. Official sponsors of the NFL are companies that have a direct relationship with the NFL through a sponsorship contract. These contracts give the companies certain benefits, such as the ability to use NFL logos and trademarks in their advertising. Nike, Bose, and Microsoft are all official sponsors of the NFL.
Nike
Nike, Inc. is an American multinational corporation that is engaged in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of footwear, apparel, equipment, accessories, and services. The company is headquartered near Beaverton, Oregon, in the Portland metropolitan area. It is one of the world’s largest suppliers of athletic shoes and apparel[4] and a major manufacturer of sports equipment, with revenue in excess of US$37.4 billion in its fiscal year 2020 (ended May 31, 2020). As of 2012, it employed more than 44,000 people worldwide. In 2014 the brand alone was valued at $19 billion,[5] making it the most valuable brand among sports businesses.[6][7][8] As of 2017[update], the Nike swoosh is one of the most recognized logos in the world.[9]
Pepsi
Pepsi has been an NFL sponsor since 2002. The company is one of the official sponsors of the NFL and has exclusive poured rights for all NFL stadiums. Pepsi also sponsors the Rookie of the Year award and has done so since 1967.
Bose
Bose Corporation is an American manufacturing company that focuses on audio equipment. The company was founded in 1964 by Amar Bose, and is based in Framingham, Massachusetts.Since then, the company has expanded to provide a range of other consumer electronics, and professional solutions (for churches, educational institutions, stadiums and performing arts centers).
The company has been an NFL sponsor since 2013. Bose provides headphones for NFL teams to use during practice sessions and games. The company also provides headphones for NFL officials to use during games.
Microsoft
Microsoft, one of the official sponsors of the NFL, is a technology company that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and services. Its best known software products are the Microsoft Windows line of operating systems, the Microsoft Office suite, and the Internet Explorer and Edge web browsers. Its flagship hardware products are the Xbox game consoles and the Microsoft Surface tablet lineup. As of 2016, it was the world’s largest software maker by revenue, and one of the world’s most valuable companies. The word “Microsoft” is a portmanteau of “microcomputer” and “software”.
Microsoft was founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen on April 4, 1975, to develop and sell BASIC interpreters for Altair 8800. It rose to dominate the personal computer operating system market with MS-DOS in the mid-1980s, followed by Microsoft Windows. The company’s 1986 initial public offering (IPO), and subsequent rise in stock price created three billionaires and an estimated 12000 millionaires from Microsoft employees. Since the 1990s,[14] it has increasingly diversified from the operating system market and has made a number of corporate acquisitions. In May 2011, Microsoft acquired Skype Technologies for $8.5 billion in its largest acquisition to date.

New England Patriots
The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston area. The Patriots compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) East division. The team plays its home games at Gillette Stadium in the town of Foxborough, Massachusetts, which is located 28 miles (45 km) southwest of downtown Boston.
The Patriots are also headquartered at Gillette Stadium. An original member of the American Football League (AFL), the Patriots joined the NFL in the 1970 merger of the two leagues. The team changed its name from the original Boston Patriots after relocating to Foxborough in 1971. The Patriots played their home games at Foxboro Stadium from 1971 to 2001, then moved to Gillette Stadium at the start of the 2002 season.
The Patriot’s league championships are tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for most in NFL history, with six apiece. The franchise has since won 12 AFC championships, most recently during their 2018 season when they defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13–3 in Super Bowl LIII to earn their sixth Lombardi Trophy, tying them with the Steelers for second place all-time behind only Green Bay Packers who have 13 titles. With their loss to Baltimore in September 2019, they also currently hold a joint-record eleven consecutive wins in AFC Championship Game appearances—since 2001—and had won an NFL-record seven consecutive such games before that streak was broken by Pittsburgh in 2016.

Gillette
Gillette is an American brand of safety razors and other personal care products owned by Procter & Gamble (P&G). Started in 1901 with a safety razor patented by King Camp Gillette, the company began selling blades in 1903 and acquired the rights to market shaving products using up-and-coming technology from French inventor Jacob Schick in 1921. The Gillette Company was founded in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, on September 28, 1901 by King C. Gillette.
The company has since grown through a series of mergers and acquisitions to become one of the leading marketers of personal care products in the world. It has been owned by multi-national consumer goods conglomerate Procter & Gamble (P&G) since 2005. The NFL has many other unofficial sponsors as well.

Ticketmaster
Ticketmaster is an American ticket sales company based in Los Angeles, California. In 2010 it merged with Live Nation to become Live Nation Entertainment. As of 2018, the company handles ticket sales for more than 500,000 events annually.
Ticketmaster was founded in 1976 by Albert Leffler, Peter Gadwa, and Gordon Gunn. The company was incorporated in 1978 as Ticketmaster Corporation and went public in 1991. In 1993 Ticketmaster acquired a controlling interest in Front Line Management Group, amanager of talent for concert promoters, which brought it into the music business.
In 1998 Ticketmaster agreed to merge with Citysearch (created by ticket broker Randy Adams) and SFX Broadcasting (owned by radio station owner Robert Sillerman), which brought live music venues into the company’s portfolio. The combined company was renamed Live Nation, and re-organized with Live Nation’s HOB division becoming Ticketmaster’s main client. In 2009, after struggling to restructure its debt obligations and facing pressure from shareholders to sell off assets, Live Nations former parent SFX Entertainment sold a majority stake in the company to media conglomerate Liberty Media.
As of 2018, Ticketmaster is the world’s largest ticket seller and has exclusive partnerships with many major venues including Madison Square Garden in New York City, the Staples Center in Los Angeles, T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, as well as numerous professional sports teams such as the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Lakers.
EA Sports
EA Sports is a division of Electronic Arts that develops and publishes sports video games. Prior to 2014, it was a marketing gimmick of Electronic Arts, used to promote their competing titles against those of Sega’s Virtua Tennis series. In 2014, EA Sports re-branded itself as a sports entertainment company.
EA Sports creates games for several professional sports leagues including the National Football League (NFL), National Basketball Association (NBA), FIFA World Cup, National Hockey League (NHL), NASCAR, among others.
