NFC
As the NFL regular season comes to a close, we take a look at which teams are still in the running for a spot in the playoffs. In the NFC, the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco ers have clinched a spot. The Seattle Seahawks and the New Orleans Saints have also clinched a spot. The Dallas Cowboys, the Minnesota Vikings, and the Los Angeles Rams are all still in the running.
Dallas Cowboys
As the number one seed in the NFC, the Dallas Cowboys have a first round bye and will host the lowest remaining seed in the divisional round. The Cowboys are coming off a 13-3 regular season in which they won the NFC East. Dallas’ offense, which is led by quarterback Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliott, is one of the best in the NFL. The Cowboys’ defense is also one of the best in the league and is led by defensive end Demarcus Lawrence.
Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) North division. It is the third-oldest franchise in the NFL, dating back to 1919, and is the only non-profit, community-owned major league professional sports team based in the United States. The Packers are also the last of the original 16 franchises that were formed prior to the NFL’s founding.
Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings are a professional American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings joined the National Football League (NFL) as an expansion team in 1960, and first took the field for the 1961 season. The team competes in the National Football Conference (NFC) North division.
As of 2019, the Vikings have appeared in 27 playoffs since their inception, which is the sixth-most among NFL teams. They have won 15 NFC division championships (1971, 1973–74, 1976–77, 1980, 1989–92, 1998–2000), which is more than any other teams in their division. The team has also won five NFC championships (1969, 1973, 1974, 1975, and 1977), which is second only to the Green Bay Packers.
New Orleans Saints
As the reigning NFC South champions, the New Orleans Saints are back in the NFC playoffs. They’ll be looking to make a run at the Super Bowl this year, but they’ll have to get past some tough competition. The Saints have a bye in the first round of the playoffs, so they’ll be watching to see who their next opponent will be.
Super Bowl
The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams will face off in the 2019 Super Bowl in Atlanta, Georgia. The Patriots are looking to repeat as champions, while the Rams are looking to take home their first Lombardi Trophy in franchise history. This will be the third time these two teams have met in the Super Bowl, with the Patriots winning both previous matchups.
Who will be in the Super Bowl?
As we get closer to the end of the NFL season, it’s time to start thinking about who will be in the Super Bowl. The two teams that are most likely to compete for the title are the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Patriots are currently leading the AFC with a record of 12-3. They have one of the best quarterbacks in the league in Tom Brady, and they have a strong defense. The Eagles are leading the NFC with a record of 13-2. They have a strong quarterback in Carson Wentz, and their defense has been playing well lately.
If these two teams meet in the Super Bowl, it will be a battle of two of the best teams in the NFL. It would be a great game to watch!
Who will win the Super Bowl?
This leading question can be difficult to answer for NFL fans, as there are a handful of teams that could potentially take home the Lombardi Trophy this year.
The New England Patriots, led by legendary quarterback Tom Brady, are always a contender. The Los Angeles Rams have been one of the best teams in the league all season and are led by dynamic young coach Sean McVay. The Kansas City Chiefs have perhaps the most electrifying player in the league in quarterback Patrick Mahomes. And don’t count out the New Orleans Saints, who are always a tough team to beat.
So, who will win the Super Bowl? Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure: it will be an exciting game to watch!
