With the first pick of the fourth round, the Phoenix Suns selected Texas Tech guard Zhaire Smith. Smith was a key player for the Red Raiders last season, averaging 11.3 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.

With the second pick of the fourth round, the Sacramento Kings selected Kentucky forward PJ Washington. Washington was a key player for the Wildcats last season, averaging 10.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.

With the third pick of the fourth round, the Detroit Pistons selected Villanova guard Donte DiVincenzo. DiVincenzo was a key player for the Wildcats last season, averaging 13.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.

With the 137th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the Los Angeles Lakers have selected Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk out of Kansas.

Mykhailiuk, a 6-foot-8 shooting guard, was a key piece for the Jayhawks during his four years in Lawrence. As a senior, he averaged 14.6 points and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 44.4 percent from three-point range. He will give the Lakers another shooter to pair with Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram in the backcourt.

With the 138th pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, the Philadelphia 76ers have selected Shake Milton out of SMU.

Milton, a 6-foot-6 point guard, was a two-year starter for the Mustangs. As a junior, he averaged 18.0 points and 4.7 assists while shooting 42.7 percent from three-point range. He will give the 76ers another ball-handler to pair with Ben Simmons in the backcourt.

With the 139th pick in 2018 NBA Draft, Houston Rockets have selected De’Anthony Melton out of USC .

The Aftermath

The 2018 NBA draft has come and gone, and as always, there are winners and losers. The Los Angeles Lakers drafting of Mo Wagner was a reach, while the Phoenix Suns selecting of Deandre Ayton was a no-brainer. But no one made a bigger mistake than the Atlanta Hawks, who selected Luka Doncic with the third overall pick.

The 2018 NBA Draft Lottery

The 2018 NBA draft lottery took place on Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago, Illinois. The Boston Celtics won the first overall pick with the best chance (25 percent) after obtaining it from the Brooklyn Nets, while the Suns and the Kings rounded out the top three.

The 2018 NBA Draft Combine

The 2018 NBA Draft Combine was held from May 16-20 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. A total of 69 players were invited to participate in the event.
