Many professional basketball players have worn the number 23, including some of the greatest to ever play the game. But who currently wears it in the NBA?

Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1963. He played college basketball at the University of North Carolina, where he won a national championship in 1982. He was drafted by the Chicago Bulls in 1984 and quickly became one of the league’s best players. In 1991 and 1992, he led the Bulls to back-to-back NBA championships.

Throughout his career, Jordan wore the number 23. He is one of only a handful of players who have had their jersey number retired by multiple teams. The others areлюбой: Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Jerry West.

When it comes to the number 23, only one man comes to mind and that is LeBron James. LeBron James is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. He has been selected to play in the All-Star game thirteen times and has won four NBA championships. He is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist.

The King

LeBron James is one of the most popular and successful basketball players of all time. He is often referred to as “The King” and has won numerous awards, including three NBA Championships. James was born on December 30, 1984, in Akron, Ohio. He began playing organized basketball when he was in fifth grade. By the time James was in high school, he was already receiving national attention for his playing ability. He was eventually drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003 and went on to have an illustrious career with the team. In 2010, James joined the Miami Heat and won two championships with them before returning to the Cavaliers in 2014. James has been voted NBA MVP four times and has been selected to play in the NBA All-Star Game thirteen times. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest players in NBA history.

The Chosen One

From the very beginning, LeBron James was hailed as a once-in-a-generation talent. He was given the nickname “The Chosen One” in a Sports Illustrated cover story when he was just 16 years old. And he lived up to the hype, becoming one of the greatest players of his generation — if not of all time.

James was born on December 30, 1984, in Akron, Ohio. He began playing organized basketball when he was just five years old. By the time he was in high school, James was already 6 feet tall and had the skills to match his size. He led his high school team to three state championships and was named Ohio’s Mr. Basketball three times.

After graduating from high school, James was drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft. At just 18 years old, he became the youngest player ever to be drafted into the NBA.

James quickly proved that he belonged in the NBA, averaging 20 points, 5.9 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game in his rookie season. He was named NBA Rookie of the Year and became an All-Star for the first time in his career.

Over the next decade, James would go on to establish himself as one of the best players in NBA history. He won MVP awards four times (2009, 2010, 2012, 2013), Defensive Player of the Year once (2012), and a championship with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013. In 2016, he returned to his hometown Cavaliers and led them to an improbable comeback victory against the Golden State Warriors in one of the greatest Finals series ever played.

Now entering his 17th season in the league, James shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. He is widely considered to be one of — if notthe — best player in today’s game and looks poised to add even more hardware to his already impressive trophy case before he hangs up his sneakers for good.
