Although there are many talented quarterbacks in the NFL, Tom Brady has proved time and time again that he is one of the best. Here are some of the reasons why he is a strong candidate for NFL MVP in the upcoming season:

With such an impressive track record, it’s no wonder that Tom Brady is considered one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. He will surely be a strong contender for NFL MVP this season.

In looking at the MVP race this season, it’s easy to get lost in the numbers and try to compare apples to oranges. Yes, Peyton Manning has more touchdown passes, but Brady has a higher completion percentage. Drew Brees has more passing yards, but Brady has thrown only two interceptions. So while there can be an argument made for any of the top three quarterbacks in the NFL this season, when you break it all down, Tom Brady deserves to be named MVP.

Brady has completed 64.1 percent of his passes this season for 4,343 yards with 30 touchdowns and eight interceptions. His passer rating is 96.4.
Brees has completed 69 percent of his passes for 5,087 yards with 39 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. His passer rating is 105.7.
Manning has completed 68 percent of his passes for 4,811 yards with 55 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. His passer rating is 115.1.
Yes, Manning has more touchdown passes, but he’s also thrown 154 more passes than Brady while playing in one extra game (the Broncos have played 14 games; the Patriots have played 13). When you take that into account, Brady actually has a slightly better touchdown percentage (2.2 percent to 2 percent). And while Brees has more passing yards than Brady this season, he’s also thrown 137 more passes than Brady while playing in one extra game (again, the Saints have played 14 games; the Patriots have played 13). When you look at it that way, Brady actually averages nearly 8 yards per attempt while Brees averages just over 7 yards per attempt.

The NFL MVP is one of the most prestigious awards in football. It is given to the most outstanding player of the year. This year, there are many contenders for the title, but one stands out above the rest: Aaron Rodgers.

It is safe to say that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is having another MVP-caliber season.
Through 13 games, Rodgers has completed 66.3 percent of his passes for 3,835 yards with 34 touchdowns and just four interceptions. He also has a league-leading 122.5 passer rating.
The Packers have a 10-3 record and are in first place in the NFC North division. They are also in position to earn a first-round bye in the playoffs.
Rodgers is the engine that makes the Packers offense go. When he is playing at a high level, the Packers are tough to beat.

Here are five reasons why Rodgers should be your MVP:
1. He’s on pace for an incredible season. If Rodgers throws for 4,299 yards and 35 touchdowns with just five interceptions, he will have posted a 122.5 passer rating, which would be the second highest single-season mark in NFL history behind only his own 121.5 rating in 2011.
2. He’s been otherworldly in the fourth quarter. According to Pro Football Focus, Rodgers has a 131.8 passer rating in the fourth quarter this season, which is more than 20 points higher than any other quarterback in the league. His 11 touchdown passes and zero interceptions in the fourth quarter are both tops in the NFL as well.
3. He’s been clutch when it matters most. In what PFF calls “tight windows” — defined as throws where there is less than a yard of separation between receiver and defender — Rodgers has thrown eight touchdowns and just one interception while posting a 116.7 passer rating this season, which is again best in the league among quarterbacks who have attempted at least 20 such passes.

Drew Brees
In my opinion, the NFL MVP will be Drew Brees. He’s an incredible quarterback and he’s had an amazing season. He’s led his team to a great record and they’re one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl. He’s thrown for over 5,000 yards and has a QB rating of over 100. He’s also been very efficient with his passes, completing over 70% of them. I think he’s the clear favorite to win the MVP award.

In order to answer this question, one must first take a look at the stats of the top contenders for the title of NFL MVP. Below are some stats for each player, as well as my reasoning for why I believe Drew Brees will win the award.
-Drew Brees: 4,334 passing yards, 23 passing TDs, 8 INTs
-Aaron Rodgers: 3,935 passing yards, 35 passing TDs, 5 INTs
-Tom Brady: 3,697 passing yards, 29 passing TDs, 11 INTs
Drew Brees has put up impressive numbers this season and has led his team to an 11-3 record. He has thrown for over 4,000 yards and has 23 touchdown passes. His touchdown to interception ratio is also very good, with only 8 interceptions on the season. Rodgers and Brady have both had great seasons as well, but I believe that Brees has been slightly better overall and deserves to be named NFL MVP.
Patrick Mahomes
The National Football League (NFL) Most Valuable Player (MVP) is an award given by various media and analysts to the player who is considered the most valuable in the NFL. The award was established in 1957 by the Frederick G. Lewishon Newspaper Syndicate and is usually given to a player on the offensive side of the ball. This year, the leading candidate for the award is Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs.
Reasons for why Patrick Mahomes will be NFL MVP
1. He’s on the best team in the NFL
The Kansas City Chiefs are the best team in the NFL, and that’s largely thanks to Patrick Mahomes. He’s the one who makes them go, and he’s the main reason why they are 13-1 and have a real shot at winning the Super Bowl. If the Chiefs do end up winning it all, it would be hard to deny Mahomes the MVP award.
2. He’s been incredible this season
Mahomes has been absolutely incredible this season, throwing for 4,843 yards and 48 touchdowns. His touchdown total is especially impressive, as it’s just one off of Peyton Manning’s single-season record of 49. He also has a chance to break Drew Brees’ single-season passing yardage record if he has a big game in Week 17 against the Chargers. Simply put, Mahomes has been unbelievable this year, and he deserves to be in the MVP conversation.
3. He’s already won an MVP award
Mahomes actually won the MVP award last season, so it would not be unprecedented for him to win it again this year. Granted, he hasn’t had quite as good of a statistical season as he did last year – when he threw for 50 touchdowns – but his team is much better than it was last season, so that should be taken into account. If Mahomes can lead the Chiefs to a Super Bowl win this year, he should absolutely be rewarded with another MVP trophy.

In 2018, Patrick Mahomes took the NFL by storm. In his first year as a starter, he led the Kansas City Chiefs to a 12-4 record and a Divisional Round appearance in the playoffs. He also threw for 5,097 yards and 50 touchdowns, both of which were NFL records. His 12 touchdown passes in Week 17 against the Oakland Raiders was also an NFL record. In total, he had eight games with at least three touchdown passes, which was tied for the most in a single season in NFL history. He was unanimously voted NFL MVP and was also named First Team All-Pro.
In 2019, Mahomes continued his stellar play. He led the Chiefs to a 12-4 record and another Divisional Round appearance in the playoffs. He also threw for 4,031 yards and 26 touchdowns. His ten touchdown passes against the Denver Broncos in Week 7 was an NFL record. In total, he had seven games with at least three touchdown passes, which was tied for the second most in a single season in NFL history. He was again voted NFL MVP and was also named First Team All-Pro.
Mahomes is the only player in NFL history to throw for at least 4,000 yards and 40 touchdowns in back-to-back seasons. He is also the only player in NFL history to throw for at least 50 touchdowns in a season. In 2019, he became the youngest player ever to win two Super Bowls when the Chiefs won Super Bowl LIV.
