Who Will Play Who in the NFL Playoffs?

With the NFL season coming to an end, fans are wondering who will face off against who in the playoffs.
Here are the NFL playoff matchups if the season ended today.

AFC

The Kansas City Chiefs have the number one seed in the AFC. They will most likely play the Houston Texans who are the number four seed. The Texans have a good offense, but their defense is not as good. The Chiefs have a good chance of winning this game.

New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston region. The Patriots compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) East division. The team plays its home games at Gillette Stadium in the town of Foxborough, Massachusetts, which is located 28 miles (45 km) southwest of downtown Boston.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers are a professional American football team based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Steelers compete in the National Football League (NFL), as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) North division. Founded in 1933, the Steelers are the oldest franchise in the AFC.

Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars clinched the AFC South for the first time since 1999, when they were in the AFC Central. The Jaguars finished 10-6, matching their record from last season. They’ll host a Wild Card game against the Buffalo Bills (9-7), who are in the playoffs for the first time since 1999.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) West division. The team was founded in 1960 as the Dallas Texans by businessman Lamar Hunt and was a charter member of the American Football League (AFL). In 1963, the team relocated to Kansas City and assumed their current name. The Chiefs joined the NFL as a result of the merger in 1970. The team is valued at over $2 billion. Lamar Hunt’s son, Clark, serves as chairman and CEO.

NFC

In the NFC, the Seattle Seahawks are the number one seed and will most likely take on the Dallas Cowboys who are the number four seed. The Seahawks have been one of the best teams in the NFL all season and they will most likely win their divisional game. The Cowboys have had a good season as well, but they will have their work cut out for them against the Seahawks.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles have had a roller coaster of a season. They started off the season looking like they were going to run away with the NFC East, but then they suffered some injuries and started to struggle. They managed to turn things around and win the division, but they lost their first playoff game to the New Orleans Saints.

The Eagles are a team that is built around their quarterback, Carson Wentz. Wentz is a very talented quarterback who can make all the throws. He is also a very good runner, which makes him a tough quarterback to defend against.

The Eagles have a good group of receivers, led by Alshon Jeffery. Jeffery is a big receiver who can make plays down the field. The Eagles also have a good group of running backs, led by Jordan Howard. Howard is a power running back who can also catch the ball out of the backfield.

The Eagles have a good defense, led by defensive end Fletcher Cox. Cox is a very good pass rusher and he can also stuff the run. The Eagles also have a goodsecondary, led by cornerbacks Jalen Mills and Ronald Darby.

Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings are a professional American football team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Vikings joined the National Football League (NFL) as an expansion team in 1960, and first took the field for the 1961 season. The team competes in the National Football Conference (NFC) North division.

Los Angeles Rams

The Rams have clinched the NFC West for the third time in four seasons and are the No. 1 seed in the NFC for the first time since 2001, when they won their only Super Bowl. They will have a first-round bye and will host a divisional-round game Jan. 12 or 13 at the Coliseum. The Rams could play any of the NFC’s four wild-card teams: the Cowboys, Seahawks, Eagles or Vikings.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints are a professional American football team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Saints currently compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) South division. The team was founded by John W. Mecom Jr., David Dixon, and the city of New Orleans on November 1, 1966. The Saints began play in Tulane Stadium in 1967.

The name “Saints” is an allusion to November 1 being All Saints Day in the Catholic faith, as New Orleans has a large Catholic population. The franchise was founded on November 1, 1966.[8][9] The team’s primary colors are old gold and black; their mascot is Gumbo the Saint Bernard dog. They are currently coached by Sean Payton.

From 1967 to 1970, the Saints were barely competitive, only managing two winning seasons and finishing a combined 12–20–2 (.382). In 1971, the NFL expanded from 14 to 16 teams with the addition of the Seattle Seahawks and the Pittsburgh Steelers expansion franchises; at that time agreement had already been reached to add an AFC team in 1972 (the Miami Dolphins). As part of that expansion plan, an agreement was reached to move the Saints’ home games from Tulane Stadium to the new Louisiana Superdome (now known as Mercedes-Benz Superdome).[10] Following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Chris Tuthill was hired as general manager of E-Z-Go Golf Cart Company where he helped create a line of All Terrain Vehicles (ATV) marketed under T Thrills which eventually led him into contact with investment guru storage locker space broker James DiMartino who after hearing about Tuthill’s background offered him
