Who Will Win the NFL This Week?

Introduction

The NFL is back and Week 1 is upon us! After months of offseason speculation and player movement, we are finally ready for some football. With that being said, let’s take a look at who will win each game this week:

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints – The Saints are coming off of a disappointing loss in the NFC Championship game, but they should be able to take care of business at home against the Bucs. Drew Brees will once again be leading one of the best offenses in the league, and the Bucs defense will have a tough time slowing them down. Expect the Saints to win by double digits.

2. Kansas City Chiefs vs. Jacksonville Jaguars – The defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs are heavy favorites in this one, but the Jags always seem to give them problems. The Jags defense is good enough to keep it close, but the Chiefs should ultimately prevail thanks to their explosive offense led by Patrick Mahomes. Chiefs win by 7 points.

3. Baltimore Ravens vs. Miami Dolphins – The Ravens are coming off of a great season in which they won the AFC North, and they should have no problem winning this game against the Dolphins. The Ravens offense is powered by their running game, and they should be able to run all over the Dolphins defense. Ravens win by 14 points.

4. New England Patriots vs. Pittsburgh Steelers – This is always one of the best games of the year when these two teams meet, but this year it might not be as exciting with Tom Brady gone from the Patriots. The Steelers should be able to take advantage of a Patriots team that is in transition and come away with a victory on opening weekend. Steelers win by 3 points

The San Francisco 49ers have been on a tear lately, winning their last five games. They have a strong defense and a balanced offense. Their quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo, is playing well and they have a good mix of run and pass plays. They are also playing at home, which gives them an advantage.
