Rafael Nadal, a Spanish professional tennis player, won gold in the men’s singles tennis tournament at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. He defeated Fernando González of Chile in the final, 6–3, 3–0 to win the gold medal.

Djokovic was the man to beat in tennis this year, and he proved it by winning gold at the Olympics. He’s an amazing player, and he deserves all the credit in the world.
Won Australian Open
Djokovic became the first man in the Open Era to win seven Australian Open titles after defeating Rafael Nadal in the final, 6–3, 6–2, 6–3 to capture his seventeenth Grand Slam title. Djokovic entered the tournament as the defending champion, having defeated Roger Federer in last year’s final.
Won US Open
On September 13th, 2020, Djokovic won his 18th major singles title at the US Open. This win put him in a tie with Pete Sampras for the third-most Grand Slam titles in history.
