In his first tournament since the Australian Open, Roger Federer won the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, defeating Andy Murray in the final, 6–3, 6–2. The victory marked Federer’s seventh title in Dubai and his 89th ATP singles title overall, extending his all-time record. It was also Murray’s first appearance in a final since winning the 2016 Wimbledon Championships.
