Atlanta Braves

The Atlanta Braves are a professional baseball team based in Atlanta, Georgia. They are members of the National League (NL) East division in Major League Baseball (MLB). The Braves played home games at Turner Field from 1997 to 2016. Since 2017, their home ballpark has been Suntrust Park, located 10 miles (16 km) northwest of downtown Atlanta in Cobb County, Georgia. The team’ssurface is infield dirt and grass outfields.

Milwaukee Brewers

The Milwaukee Brewers are an American professional baseball team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They compete in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the National League (NL) Central division. The team is named for the city’s association with the brewing industry. Since 2001, the Brewers have played their home games at Miller Park, which has a seating capacity of 41,900.

The team was founded in 1969 as the Seattle Pilots, an expansion team of the American League (AL), in Seattle, Washington. The Pilots played their home games at Sick’s Stadium. After only one season, the team relocated to Milwaukee, becoming known as the Brewers and playing their home games at Milwaukee County Stadium. In 1998, the Brewers joined the National League. They are one of two MLB teams to switch leagues in their history; the other is the Houston Astros (formerly in NL Central, now AL West).

The team’s only World Series appearance came in 1982. After winning seven of their last eight games to clinch their first-ever playoff berth on September 30, 1982, they went on to defeat the California Angels and New York Yankees to win the American League pennant and advance to their only World Series appearance as of 2019. The Chicago White Sox defeated the Chicago Cubs 8-3 last night in the first game of their interleague series. The White Sox jumped out to an early lead, scoring four runs in the first inning. The Cubs rallied with three runs in the bottom of the ninth, but it was not enough to come back and they fell to the White Sox.

Cincinnati Reds vs. Cleveland Indians

The Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Indians are two of baseball’s most storied franchises. The two teams have been playing each other since the 19th century, and the rivalry between them is one of the most intense in all of sports.

The Reds and the Indians both play in the same division (NL Central), so they play each other a lot. In fact, they play each other more than any other two teams in baseball. Because of this, the games between them are always heated, and the fans on both sides are always looking for a chance to bragging rights.

Last night, the two teams met again in Cincinnati. The Reds got off to a hot start, scoring three runs in the first inning. They never looked back, as they went on to win the game by a score of 8-1.

With the victory, the Reds now have a 6-4 lead in the season series between the two teams.

Houston Astros vs. Texas Rangers

The Houston Astros faced off against the Texas Rangers last night in a heated rivalry game. The Astros were able to pull ahead in the ninth inning, thanks to a solo home run by George Springer. The final score was 3-2, with the Astros winning. This was a crucial win for the Astros, as they remain in first place in their division.

Kansas City Royals vs. St. Louis Cardinals

Los Angeles Angels vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

The Los Angeles Angels beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-4 last night in the final game of their three-game interleague series. The angels were leading 5-4 in the bottom of the ninth inning when Dodgers’ catcher Yasmani Grandal hit a solo home run to tie the game. However, the Angels responded in the top of the tenth inning, whencenter fielder Mike Trout hit a solo home run of his own to give the angels the lead for good.

Minnesota Twins vs. Milwaukee Brewers

In their first matchup of the season, the Minnesota Twins faced-off against the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers started the game strong, scoring 2 runs in the first inning. The Twins quickly answered back, tying the game in the bottom of the inning. The Brewers took the lead again in the top of the 3rd with another run, but the Twins came back to tie it in the bottom of the inning. It was a back-and-forth battle from there, with neither team able to take a definitive lead. In the end, it was the Twins who came out on top, winning by a score of 9-8.

New York Mets vs. New York Yankees

Last night, the New York Mets took on the New York Yankees in an interleague game. In the end, the Mets were victorious, winning by a score of 5-4. This was a hard-fought battle between two of the most storied rivals in baseball, and fans of both teams are sure to be pleased with the outcome.
