Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers defeated the Baltimore Ravens last night in a thrilling game that came down to the wire. The Packers were led by their stout defense, which forced four turnovers, including two interceptions of Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. On offense, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was efficient, completing 18 of 26 passes for 205 yards and two touchdowns. Packers wide receiver Davante Adams had a great game, catching eight passes for 99 yards and a touchdown.

The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos 43-8 in Super Bowl XLVIII on Sunday night. The Seahawks dominated from start to finish, jumping out to a 22-0 lead in the first half and never looking back.
Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson was named Super Bowl MVP after completing 18 of 25 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns. Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch also had a big game, rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries.
The Broncos, who were heavy favourites entering the game, could never get anything going on offense. Quarterback Peyton Manning, who was named the league’s MVP for the fifth time this season, was intercepted twice and sacked four times. Denver’s only points came on a safety early in the second quarter.
This is the Seahawks’ first Super Bowl title in franchise history.
