Wide receiver Davante Adams was the leading receiver for the Packers, catching seven passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns. For the Lions, quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Golden Tate was the leading receiver for the Lions, catching eight passes for 132 yards and a touchdown.
New England Patriots vs. New York Jets
The New England Patriots beat the New York Jets 24-17 on Monday night. The Patriots took an early lead and never relinquished it, though the Jets made things interesting late in the fourth quarter.
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was solid, completing 18 of 28 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns. He was especially impressive in the first half, engineering a pair of scoring drives that put New England up 14-0.
The Jets offense struggled for much of the game, but came alive in the fourth quarter behind backup quarterback Bryce Petty. Petty replaced an ineffective Ryan Fitzpatrick and led New York on a pair of touchdown drives, bringing the Jets within seven points with just over two minutes remaining.
But the Patriots were able to run out the clock, sealing the win and improving to 10-2 on the season. The loss drops the Jets to 3-9.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals
The Pittsburgh Steelers won Monday night’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals 16-10. The Steelers are now 10-2 on the season and sit atop the AFC North.
San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks defeated the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football by a score of 27-24. The Seahawks were led by quarterback Russell Wilson, who completed 17 of 23 passes for 232 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Chris Carson also had a big game for Seattle, rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown on 21 carries.
