New England Patriots

The New England Patriots are a professional American football team based in the Greater Boston area. The Patriots compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s American Football Conference (AFC) East division. Quarterback

Tom Brady, born on August 3, 1977, is an American football quarterback for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He is one of only two players to win five Super Bowls (the other being defensive end Charles Haley), and he is the only player to win them all playing for one team. Brady has also been selected for eleven Pro Bowls, led his team to more division titles than any other quarterback in NFL history, and has been awarded four Super Bowl MVPs (most ever).

Russell Wilson

The NFL MVP award this year was a close race but in the end, Russell Wilson came out on top. He had an amazing season and led his team to the playoffs. He is a deserving winner and was the clear choice for the award. Let’s take a look at his stats and accomplishments.

Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are a professional American football team based in Seattle, Washington. The Seahawks compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference West division. They joined the NFL in 1976 as an expansion team, along with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Seahawks are owned by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen and are currently coached by Pete Carroll. Since 2002, the Seahawks have played their home games at CenturyLink Field, located south of downtown Seattle. The franchise began play in 1976 as the Seattle Seahawks, an expansion team awarded by the NFL to a group of local businessmen led by John Nordstrom and Lahman Arnold.

In 1983, Howard Schultz, a waiter and salesperson who had recently graduated from Northern Michigan University with a degree in communications, approached Nordstrom about opening a coffee shop within the store. Schultz was impressed with Nordstrom’s commitment to customer service and asked if he could open a café in one of their stores. Nordstrom agreed, and on September 15, 1986, Café Nordstrom opened its doors for business at the flagship store in Downtown Seattle.[11][12] By 1990, there were six Cafés Nordstrom across Washington and Oregon.[13] Schultz eventually left Nordstrom in 1994 to start his own coffee company: Starbucks.[14]

Quarterback

Russell Wilson is an American football quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the University of Wisconsin. Wilson was drafted by Seattle in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Wilson won Super Bowl XLVIII, becoming the second ever African American quarterback to do so, and was named Super Bowl MVP. In 2014, he led the Seahawks to their first ever Super Bowl victory.

J.J. Watt

J.J. Watt, defensive end for the Houston Texans, was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for the NFL this year. This is the first time in NFL history that a defensive player has won the award unanimously. In addition to being an excellent player, J.J. Watt is also known for his charitable work.

Houston Texans

Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt has been named the NFL’s Most Valuable Player for the second time in his career.

Watt, who was also named MVP in 2014, is the first defensive player to win the award twice since its inception in 1957. He was a unanimous choice for this year’s award, receiving all 50 votes from a panel of media members who cover the NFL.

Watt had a monster season for the Texans, totaling 61 tackles, including an NFL-leading 17.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. He also had two touchdowns, one on an interception return and one on a fumble return.

Defensive end

At 6-foot-5, 290 pounds, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt is an absolute force on the football field. A three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Watt has led the league in sacks twice and was named first-team All-Pro four times in his six NFL seasons.

Watt entered the league as a first-round pick out of Wisconsin in 2011, and he quickly established himself as one of the best young defensive players in the game. In his rookie season, Watt recorded 56 tackles and 5.5 sacks, and he followed that up with a breakout second year in which he racked up 69 tackles, 20.5 sacks, and four forced fumbles.

Over the next few seasons, Watt continued to be one of the most dominant defensive players in the NFL, racking up sack totals of 10.5, 13.5, and 17.5 from 2013 to 2015. He also forced 11 fumbles over that three-year stretch and recovered four fumbles himself, returning two of them for touchdowns.

In 2016, Watt suffered a serious back injury that limited him to just three games, but he bounced back strong in 2017 with 61 tackles and 16 sacks en route to his third Defensive Player of the Year award.

There’s no doubt that J.J. Watt is one of the best defensive players in NFL history, and at just 29 years old he shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
