Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz was named the Kia NBA Rookie of the Year for the 2017-18 season, the NBA announced today. Mitchell received 635 points, including 79 first-place votes, from a panel of 100 sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada.

Jayson Tatum

Jayson Tatum (born March 3, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for one season with the Duke Blue Devils before being selected with the third overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft by the Celtics.

In July 2017, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team.
