In a rematch of last year’s NBA Finals, the Los Angeles Lakers won their second consecutive championship, defeating the Miami Heat in six games. LeBron James was named Finals MVP for the fourth time in his career, averaging 28.6 points, 12.8 rebounds and 8.0 assists per game during the series.
The Miami Heat
The Miami Heat won the 2021 NBA finals after defeating the Los Angeles Lakers in six games. This was the Heat’s sixth NBA championship overall and their first since winning back-to-back titles in 2012 and 2013.
