This year, the awards ceremony was held on November 16th, 2019, in Arlington, Texas.

Fortnite

The Esports Awards 2019 took place on Saturday, November 16 at the Arlington Convention Center in Arlington, Texas.
This was the fifth annual edition of The Esports Awards and the first time the event has been held in North America.

The night started with a bang as Fortnite took home the coveted Game of the Year award, as well as Esports Game of the Year. This is Fortnite’s second year in a row winning Game of the Year and third consecutive win for Esports Game of the Year.

In total, Fortnite won five awards includingStreamer of the Year, which went to Tyler “Ninja” Blevins.

Other big winners included G2 Esports who won three awards including Organisation of the Year and Publisher of the Year, while CS:GO player Alexandre “s1mple” Kostyliev won two awards including Player of the Year and PC Player of the Year.

Overwatch

The Esports Awards is an annual awards ceremony to recognize the best in the esports industry. The 2019 ceremony was held on November 16, 2019, at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Overwatch was awarded Game of the Year, Esports Game of the Year, and Esport Publisher of the Year.Other winners included G2 Esports for Team of the Year and Player of the Year (Nicolai “device” Reedtz), as well as 100 Thieves for Organization of the Year.

Rainbow Six Siege

The 6th annual Esports Awards ceremony was held on November 16th, 2019, to celebrate the biggest and best in the industry over the past 12 months. The Winners

The Esports Awards 2019 took place on Saturday, November 16th at the Blaisdell Exhibition Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. The event was hosted by Jessica Chobot and consisted of 27 award categories. In total, there were over 300 nominations from over 75 countries worldwide.

Fortnite

The most decorated competitive Fortnite player, who goes by the name Bugha, won the overall esports player of the year 2019. This was his first time being nominated and he is also the first solo player to take home this award.

Bugha has had an incredible year. He started off by winning the very first Fortnite World Cup in July. Then in August, he took home $1.8 million after winning a duos tournament at PAX West. He didn’t stop there. In November, he placed first in another fortnite tournament, this time in New York, and took home a whopping $3 million. Not bad for a 16-year-old!

Overwatch

The Overwatch category has had more changes this year than any other, with a few familiar names and some new ones creeping in. Overwatch League MVP Jay “Sinatraa” Won picked up the prize for PC Player of the Year, beating out Jeong “Ryujehong” Ryeong-hwan, Kim “Geguri” Se-yeon, Hong “Ark” Jae-pyo, and Park “ryujaejun” Jae-jun. San Francisco Shock support Nikola “sleepy” Andrews was awarded theEsports Commentator of the Year prize.

Rainbow Six Siege

The Rainbow Six Siege Esports Awards 2019 winners have been revealed at the annual event in Las Vegas, celebrating the best of the best in the competitive Tom Clancy shooter.

Team Empire came out on top as the Rainbow Six Siege Esports Team of the Year, with G2 Esports’ Léo “Alphama” Robine taking home the prize for Rainbow Six Siege Player of the Year.
