Introduction
The National Football League (NFL) is the most popular professional American football league. It was founded in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association (APFA) before renaming itself the National Football League in 1922. The NFL consists of 32 teams organized into two conferences, the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC). Each conference has 16 teams, and each team plays a 4-game preseason schedule, followed by a 16-game regular season schedule, for a total of 20 regular season games. Following the regular season, six teams from each conference advance to the playoffs, a single-elimination tournament culminating in the Super Bowl, which is usually held in February.

Highlights
The NFL Football season is in full swing and we have your weekly Who Won The Game Tonight? NFL Football update. This week’s featured game is the New England Patriots vs. the New York Jets. The Patriots are coming off of a loss to the Miami Dolphins, while the Jets are coming off of a win against the Buffalo Bills.
The Patriots are led by their quarterback, Tom Brady, who is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. The Jets are led by their quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick, who is one of the best journeyman quarterbacks in the NFL.
The game started off with a bang, as Brady threw a touchdown pass to wide receiver Julian Edelman on the first drive of the game. The Jets answered right back, as Fitzpatrick threw a touchdown pass to wide receiver Quincy Enunwa. The rest of the first half was a back-and-forth affair, with neither team being able to gain a significant advantage.
The second half started off with more of the same, as both teams traded touchdown drives. However, late in the fourth quarter, Fitzpatrick threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown by Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler. This gave the Patriots a late lead that they would not relinquish, as they went on to win the game by a score of 28-14.
What’s Next
Now that you know the scores of all the games from last night, it’s time to start thinking about what’s next. What teams will make it to the playoffs? Who will be crowned the champion of each conference?
There are a few different scenarios that could play out, but let’s take a look at a few of the most likely ones.
If the season ended today, here’s how the playoff picture would look:
In the AFC, the New England Patriots would be the top seed, followed by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Kansas City Chiefs.
In the NFC, the Philadelphia Eagles would be the top seed, followed by the Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Rams, and New Orleans Saints.
But there are still three weeks left in the season, so things could certainly change. For example, if the Jaguars lose to the Patriots this week and the Steelers beat the Ravens, then Pittsburgh would move into first place in the AFC North. Or if The Rams lose to both The Seahawks and The 49ers , they could fall all The way out of playoff contention entirely. So much can still happen!
One thing is for sureāit’s going to be an exciting end to a great season of football.
