The LSU baseball team won the game tonight against the other team. They were very excited and are looking forward to the next game.
How they won
LSU defeated Florida State 5-4 in the semifinal game of the College World Series on Tuesday night. It was a come-from-behind victory for the Tigers, who found themselves trailing 4-1 in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Designated hitter Daniel Cabrera started the rally with a solo home run, and first baseman Josh Smith followed that up with a two-run shot to tie the game. The Tigers then took the lead in the bottom of the ninth on an RBI single by right fielder Antoine Duplantis.
The win sends LSU to the College World Series championship series, where they will face either Michigan or Vanderbilt.

Who played well
New Orleans, LA – The LSU Tigers continued their winning ways tonight, defeating the New Orleans Privateers 9-1. The Tigers have now won four straight games, and their record improves to 22-5 on the season.
Leading the way for LSU was first baseman Austin Bain, who went 3-for-4 at the plate with two RBI. Designated hitter Daniel Cabrera also had a good game, going 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBI. starting pitcher A.J. Puk was also effective, pitching seven innings and allowing one run on five hits while striking out eight batters.
The Privateers couldn’t get much going offensively against Puk and the Tiger defense, scattering just five hits and failing to score until the ninth inning. Tonight’s loss drops New Orleans’ record to 12-16 on the season.
