Nadal has a younger sister named María Isabel. He also has two paternal uncles who were professional tennis players: Toni Nadal (his father’s brother) and Miguel Ángel Nadal (nicknamed “Uncle Toni”). Very early in his life, he showed signs of intense focus on tennis with a single-minded dedication to becoming the best that he could be at the game

He has also won ATP Player of the Year a record seven times (in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019 and 2020), ATP Tour Finals three times (in 2014, 2015 and 2020), Wimbledon twice (in 2011 and 2020), as well as being on the Serb team which won Davis Cup in 2010. In majors, Djokovic has won 16 Grand Slam singles titles; he is one of eight men to have done so.

In the end, Novak Djokovic couldn’t quite repeat his Wimbledon triumph. The world No. 1 put up a good fight against Roger Federer in the final, but it wasn’t enough as Federer won in straight sets, 7-6 (5), 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.

It was a disappointing result for Djokovic, who had come into the match as the heavy favorite. But ultimately, Federer was just too good on the day, and Djokovic will have to settle for a runner-up finish.
