On Sunday, Russell Westbrook was named the Most Valuable Player of the NBA All-Star game. The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard scored 31 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out five assists in the Western Conference’s 192-182 victory over the Eastern Conference. It is the second time Westbrook has been named MVP of the All-Star game, as he also won the award in 2015.

Butler scored 10 points in the final 2:12 of the fourth quarter to help the East All-Stars come back from a 10-point deficit and defeat the West All-Stars, 157-155. Butler totaled 20 points, seven assists, six rebounds, and two steals in the game and was named the MVP.

The Chicago Bulls star scored a game-high 29 points to lead the Midwest Division to a 133-124 victory over the Pacific Division at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

Butler added 10 assists, six rebounds and two steals in 40 minutes as he earned his first All-Star MVP award.

Butler, who was acquired by the Minnesota Timberwolves in a trade with the Chicago Bulls last month, made 12 of 23 shots from the field, including four of nine from 3-point range, and added 10 assists, six rebounds and three steals in 32 minutes. He is the first player in All-Star Game history to record at least 20 points, 10 assists and five steals.

With the score tied at 145 in the final seconds, Butler drove to the basket and converted a layup to give Team LeBron the lead for good. Kyrie Irving then hit two free throws to ice the win.
