In 2009, the Orlando Magic won the NBA Championship. This was their first championship win in franchise history. Led by superstar center Dwight Howard, the Magic defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in the Finals, 4-1.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, led by LeBron James, won the NBA Championship in 2009. They defeated the Orlando Magic in the Finals, becoming the first team in NBA history to win the title after losing the Finals the previous year.
