LeBron James

LeBron James of the Miami Heat was named the NBA Most Valuable Player for the 2013 season on May 1, 2013. James earned his fourth MVP award after receiving 120 of the 121 first-place votes from a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States and Canada.

Kevin Durant

The National Basketball Association Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) is an annual National Basketball Association (NBA) award given since the 1955–56 season to the best performing player of the regular season. The winner receives the Maurice Podoloff Trophy, which is named in honor of the first commissioner (then president) of the NBA, who served from 1946 until 1963. Since its inception, the award has been given to 40 different players. Bill Russell and Michael Jordan are the only players to win the award on five occasions; Wilt Chamberlain, Kawhi Leonard and LeBron James have won four times each. Russell and James are the only players to have won MVP four times in five seasons. Moses Malone, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson are the only three players to win MVP three times in a row. Johnson is also the only player to win MVP in three different seasons (1979–80, 1981–82, 1982–83). LeBron James is the most recent winner of this prestigious award as he captured his fourth title during 2012-2013 season where he averaged 28 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists per game.

Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bean Bryant (born August 23, 1978) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He entered the NBA directly from high school, and won five NBA championships with the Lakers. Bryant is an 18-time All-Star, 15-time member of the All-NBA Team, and 12-time member of the All-Defensive team. He led the NBA in scoring during two seasons, and ranks third on both the league’s all-time regular season scoring and all-time postseason scoring lists. He holds the NBA record for the most seasons playing with one franchise for an entire career.

At 34 years and 104 days of age, Bryant became the youngest player ever to reach 30,000 career points. He became the all-time leading scorer in Lakers franchise history on February 1, 2010, when he surpassed Jerry West. During his career, Bryant has received multiple accolades including an NBA Most Valuable Player Award (MVP) in 2008 and two NBA Finals MVP Awards (2009 and 2010). In 2012, he was selected to play in his 15th straight All-Star Game, tying Bob Cousy for longest streak as an All-Star starter at 15 years.
