Ezekiel Elliott, the NFL’s leading rusher, has been suspended for six games for violating the league’s personal conduct policy.
The 22-year-old Elliott was suspended following an extensive investigation that concluded he had several physical confrontations last summer with his girlfriend, Tiffany Thompson.
Elliott has three days to appeal the suspension, which would be heard by either Derrick Brooks or James Thrash, appointed jointly by the NFL and NFL Players Association.

If he doesn’t appeal, Elliott will begin serving his suspension immediately and would be eligible to return to the Cowboys’ active roster on Nov. 24, following the team’s Thanksgiving Day game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers compete in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference North division. The Packers have won four Super Bowls and thirteen NFL championships.

Jared Goff passed for 321 yards and a touchdown for Los Angeles, which overcame a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter. The Rams have won four straight and are off to their best start since 2001, when they won their first eight games en route to the Super Bowl.
