Rafael Nadal
Rafael Nadal of Spain wins the men’s final of the French Open today. It was a stunning victory as Nadal beat world number one Novak Djokovic of Serbia in straight sets. Nadal becomes the first man to win a Grand Slam title in three different decades.
Won the French Open
Rafael Nadal of Spain made a winning return to the French Open as he defeated 2017 runner-up Stan Wawrinka in straight sets to claim his record-extending 11th title at Roland Garros on Sunday. Nadal, who missed last year’s tournament with a wrist injury, beat the Swiss 3-6, 7-6 (7/4), 6-4, 6-4 on a hot, Cloudless day at the Paris clay court grand slam. It was a first meeting between the two since 2014 and gave Nadal a 76th win from 77 matches at Roland Garros.
Won Wimbledon
Rafael Nadal Parera is a Spanish professional tennis player ranked world No. 1 in men’s singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). He has won 19 Grand Slam singles titles, the second most in history for a male player, as well as 35 ATP Tour Masters 1000 titles, 20 ATP Tour 500 tournaments, and an Olympic gold medal in singles. In major finals, Nadal has a record of 12–4 in Wimbledon finals, 9–7 in Australian Open finals, 5–3 in US Open finals and 2–1 in French Open finals. Amongst other titles he has won are 2 Davis Cups and 2 Laver Cups.

Won the Australian Open
Roger Federer won the Australian Open, defeating Marin Cilic in the final, 6–2, 6–7^(5–7), 6–3, 3–6, 6–1 to win the Men’s Singles tennis title at the 2018 tournament. It was his sixth Australian Open singles title and 20th Grand Slam men’s singles title overall. This was Federer’s second consecutive five-set match in the tournament; he had also played a five-set match in the semifinals against Hyeon Chung, which he won in a deciding tiebreaker.
Won the US Open
In tennis, Federer has won a record 20 Grand Slam singles titles, the most in history for a male player. He has held the world No. 1 spot in the ATP rankings for a record 310 weeks, including 237 consecutively from 2004 to 2008. In majors, Federer has won a record eight Wimbledon titles, six Australian Open titles, five US Open titles (all consecutive, a record), and one French Open title. He is one of eight men to have achieved the Career Grand Slam.
Novak Djokovic
Djokovic played a great match and very few unforced errors. He was hitting his serve really well and his forehand was on point. His backhand needs a bit of work but other than that, he was playing really well.
Won the ATP Finals
Novak Djokovic has won the ATP Finals after beating Roger Federer in straight sets in the final.
The world number one was in superb form throughout the tournament, dropping just two sets on his way to the title.
This is Djokovic’s fourth win at the ATP Finals, and he has now equalled Federer’s record of six titles overall.
