Rafael Nadal
Rafael Nadal of Spain won the men’s singles title at the US Open tennis tournament. Nadal defeated Serbian player Novak Djokovic in the finals, 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 to win his fourth US Open title and nineteenth Grand Slam overall.
Roger Federer
On September 8th, 2019, Roger Federer won his record-breaking sixth consecutive US Open men’s singles title, defeating fellow countryman Stan Wawrinka in four sets. This was Federer’s twentieth major singles title overall, putting him second on the all-time list behind only Rafael Nadal.
Serena Williams
Serena Williams won the 2017 US Open Tennis Tournament, defeating Madison Keys in straight sets, 6–3, 6–3. Williams won her sixth US Open title and 23rd Grand Slam singles championship overall, breaking a tie with Steffi Graf for the most major wins by a player in the Open Era.
