WWE SmackDown
The WWE has seen a lot of changes in recent years. Many superstars have come and gone, but there are always a few that manage to stand the test of time. Let’s take a look at a few of the WWE superstars that are rumored to be making a comeback in the near future.
AJ Styles
AJ Styles is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE, where he performs on the SmackDown brand. He is currently in his second reign as WWE Champion, and is also the United States Champion.
Styles debuted in professional wrestling in 1998, competing in various independent promotionsin the southeastern United States. After signing with TNA in 2002 and competing there for half a decade, he joined New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) through its Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) affiliation in early 2014. In NJPW and CMLL, Styles was part of the Bullet Club stable, and went on to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship three times and the IWGP Intercontinental Championship twice. While still contracted with NJPW, Styles made his debut for Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2014.
Daniel Bryan
The WWE Universe was shook last week when it was revealed that Daniel Bryan had quit SmackDown Live. The former WWE Champion had been off TV for a couple of weeks, leading many to believe that he was taking time off for personal reasons. However, it was later revealed that Bryan was actually frustrated with the creative direction of his character, and decided to walk away from the company.
While it’s unknown if WWE will try to convince Bryan to come back, it’s unlikely that they will be able to change his mind. Bryan is a very stubborn person, and he’s made it clear that he’s not happy with the way he’s being used on TV. In all likelihood, we’ve seen the last of Daniel Bryan in WWE.
The Miz
The Miz returned to SmackDown last week after a brief absence, and it looks like he’s here to stay. The A-Lister defeated Jeff Hardy in a No. 1 Contender’s Match to earn a shot at the WWE Championship, currently held by AJ Styles.
The Miz has been one of SmackDown’s top Superstars over the past few years, and he’s certainly proved that he belongs in the main event scene. The question now is, can he win the WWE Championship? The Miz has held numerous titles in his career, but the WWE Championship has eluded him thus far. Can he finally capture the gold at WrestleMania 34?
WWE Raw
WWE Raw is a professional wrestling television program produced by WWE that currently airs live on Monday evenings on the USA Network. The show’s name is also used to refer to the Raw brand, in which WWE employees are assigned to work and perform on that program; the other programs and brands are: SmackDown, Main Event, Superstars, NXT, WWE Network, and Total Divas.
Braun Strowman
Braun Strowman is a professional wrestler currently signed to WWE. He is performing on the Raw brand and is the current WWE Universal Champion in his first reign.

In April 2016, Strowman made his NXT television debut, where he defeated Chad Gable. The following month, he was moved to the Raw brand as part of the draft. In August 2016, he made his main roster televised debut on Raw, confronting and attacking Sami Zayn.
After teasing a face turn for months and having several matches againstpopular babyface wrestlers such as Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, Strowman officially turned face on the August 20, 2018 episode of Raw. At Hell in a Cell on September 16, 2018, Strowman won his first world championship by defeating Brock Lesnar for the vacant WWE Universal Championship.
Drew McIntyre
As one-half of the tag team known as The Chosen Ones with Cody Rhodes, McIntyre won the World Tag Team Championship. He has also held the Intercontinental Championship and the WWE Tag Team Championship with Dolph Ziggler.
Samoa Joe
It’s been a long time coming, but Samoa Joe is finally coming to WWE Raw.
The former NXT Champion made his Main Event debut on the Apr. 3 episode of WWE Raw, attacking Seth Rollins from behind and putting him through a broadcast table.
This marked Samoa Joe’s first appearance on WWE television since he was injured at a live event in October 2017. He had been sidelined with a left knee injury and underwent surgery in December.
It’s unclear what Samoa Joe’s role on WWE Raw will be, but it appears he will be feuding with Rollins for the time being.

One wrestler who has been making a name for himself lately is Velveteen Dream. Velveteen Dream made his debut on NXT in 2017 and has been impressing fans ever since. He is a two-time NXT Tag Team Champion and is the current NXT North American Champion.
Velveteen Dream’s recent run of success was brought to an abrupt halt, however, when he suffered an injury at an NXT live event. Velveteen Dream was scheduled to compete in a triple threat match for the NXT North American Championship, but was forced to pull out of the match due to injury.
It is currently unknown how long Velveteen Dream will be out of action for, but we wish him a speedy recovery.
