Eastern Conference
The Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks are the favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference. The Celtics have been the best team in the conference all season, and they have the best player in the conference in Kyrie Irving. The Bucks have the best record in the NBA, and they have a great chance to make the Finals.
Atlantic Division
The Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers, and Brooklyn Nets are in the Atlantic Division.
The Celtics are the first seed, the Raptors are the second seed, the 76ers are the third seed, and the Nets are the fourth seed.
Central Division
The Central Division of the Eastern Conference is made up of the following teams:
-Boston Celtics
-Brooklyn Nets
-New York Knicks
-Philadelphia 76ers
-Toronto Raptors
Southeast Division
The Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference is made up of the following teams:
-Atlanta Hawks
-Miami Heat
-Charlotte Hornets
-Washington Wizards
-Orlando Magic
Western Conference
Now that the regular season is over, it’s time to take a look at who’s in the playoffs. In the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors are the clear favorite. They’re followed by the Houston Rockets, the Portland Trail Blazers, and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Southwest Division
The Southwest Division of the Western Conference is made up of five teams: the Houston Rockets, the Memphis Grizzlies, the New Orleans Pelicans, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Dallas Mavericks.
The divisional winner is the team with the best record in divisional play. The divisional runner-up is the team with the second-best record in divisional play. The two divisional winners and two divisional runner-ups with the best records in conference play qualify for the playoffs.
Northwest Division
The Northwestern Division of the NBA’s Western Conference is made up of the following teams:
-Denver Nuggets
-Minnesota Timberwolves
-Portland Trail Blazers
-Oklahoma City Thunder
-Utah Jazz
Pacific Division
The Pacific Division is a division in the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The division consists of five teams, the Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, and Sacramento Kings.
The Pacific Division was created at the start of the NBA’s 1974-75 season as a result of the league’s realignment. At that time, it was composed of the Los Angeles Lakers, Seattle SuperSonics, Portland Trail Blazers, and Phoenix Suns. The Golden State Warriors joined the following season.
Finals
The NBA Finals is the championship series of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Eastern and Western conference champions play a best-of-seven game series to determine the league champion. The winning team of the series receives the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy.
