Who’s leading Major League Baseball in home runs? As of June 1, 2018, the top five home run leaders are Jose Ramirez, Khris Davis, Mookie Betts, Mike Trout, and J.D. Martinez.

Giancarlo Stanton
Giancarlo Stanton of the New York Yankees is leading Major League Baseball in home runs. As of June 1st, Stanton has hit 22 home runs, putting him ahead of 2017 NL MVP Cody Bellinger of the Los Angeles Dodgers, who has 21. Cleveland Indians third baseman Jose Ramirez is in third place with 20 home runs. Baltimore Orioles rookie phenom Trey Mancini is in fourth place with 19 home runs, while Chicago Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo rounds out the top five with 18 home runs.
Cody Bellinger
Cody Bellinger is an American professional baseball first baseman and outfielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has played in MLB for parts of three seasons, all with the Dodgers. A champion in both college and Minor League Baseball, he was selected by the Dodgers in the 2013 MLB draft and made his MLB debut in 2017. He won the National League (NL) Rookie of the Year Award that season and was a finalist for the NL Most Valuable Player Award after leading the league in home runs. In 2019, he was elected to start in his first All-Star Game, won his first Silver Slugger Award and NL Hank Aaron Award, and helped the Dodgers win their seventh consecutive NL West division title.
J.D. Martinez
With 47 home runs, Martinez is currently leading Major League Baseball in home runs. The 30-year-old slugger is having a career year, batting .330 with 103 RBIs. He’s on pace to hit over 50 home runs and drive in over 120 runs. Martinez is a key reason why the Red Sox have the best record in baseball.
Aaron Judge
Leading the majors in home runs is New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge with 13. The 6-foot-7, 282-pound slugger from Linden, California, is in his first full season in the majors.
Khris Davis
With 46 home runs this season, Oakland Athletics outfielder Khris Davis is currently leading Major League Baseball in home runs. A journeyman who has played for four different teams in his eight-year career, Davis has finally found a home in Oakland, where he has played his best baseball. Originally drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2009, Davis made his major league debut with the team in 2013. He played three seasons with the Brewers before being traded to the Oakland Athletics in 2016. In his two and a half seasons with the A’s, Davis has hit .247/.325/.542 with 81 home runs and 208 RBIs.

The 22-year-old outfielder is in his third season with the Braves and became the youngest player in MLB history to hit 30 homers and steal 30 bases in a single season last year. Acuna is off to a torrid start in 2019, batting .291/.396/.713 with 13 homers, 29 RBI and nine stolen bases in 28 games.
Eloy Jimenez
Eloy Jimenez of the Chicago White Sox is currently leading Major League Baseball in home runs with 21. He is closely followed by “the dark horse” contenders Ronald Acuna Jr. of the Atlanta Braves and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. of the Toronto Blue Jays, who both have 20 home runs each. Guerrero Jr. is the son of former MLB All-Star Vladimir Guerrero, and he is living up to the hype that followed him into the league. If he can keep up this pace, he could be in line for a historic rookie season.
