Keep up to date with which NBA players are out for the season.

Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets has been ruled out for the rest of the season, the team announced Thursday. Irving will have surgery to address a right shoulder impingement.

Kyrie Irving’s injury

Kyrie Irving is an injury-prone player. The Brooklyn Nets superstar has suffered from various injuries throughout his career, including a serious ankle injury that sidelined him for the entire 2019-20 season.

Now, it appears that Irving is dealing with yet another injury. The 27-year-old guard was forced to leave Wednesday’s game against the Washington Wizards early due to a shoulder injury.

It is unclear how serious the injury is, but it is yet another setback for Irving, who has struggled to stay on the court over the past few years.

Kyrie Irving’s return

Kyrie Irving will return to the Brooklyn Nets lineup for Sunday’s game against the Sacramento Kings, coach Steve Nash announced Saturday.

Irving has not played since Feb. 1 because of a right shoulder injury. In four games this season, he is averaging 27.4 points, 5.2 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game.

The Nets are also expected to get Kevin Durant back in the lineup Sunday after he missed two games with a left hamstring strain.

Jimmy Butler

As of late, there has been a lot of talk about Jimmy Butler and his recent trade to the Miami Heat. Butler is a very talented player and it will be interesting to see how he does with his new team. Some people are saying that he will be the next big thing, while others are not so sure.

Jimmy Butler’s injury

Jimmy Butler has been ruled out for the remainder of the game with an apparent right knee injury.

The extent of Butler’s injury is unknown at this time, but he will not return to the game.

This is a developing story, we will have more information as it becomes available.

Jimmy Butler’s return

Jimmy Butler has been out with an injury since February 23, when he suffered a right wrist sprain. The All-Star guard is now targeting a return to action for the Philadelphia 76ers’ final regular-season game on April 11 against the Milwaukee Bucks, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Butler has been working out at the Sixers’ practice facility and is “progressing well,” sources said. He is expected to ramp up his on-court activity this week in hopes of playing in the season finale.

The Sixers have gone 6-4 in Butler’s absence and are currently in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 45-30 record. They are 2.5 games behind the third-place Indiana Pacers and 1.5 games ahead of the fifth-place Miami Heat.

Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson, shooting guard for the Golden State Warriors, will be out for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season. This is due to a torn ACL that he suffered during Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Kemba Walker

No one on the Charlotte Hornets is out for Wednesday’s game against the Boston Celtics. This means that Kemba Walker will be playing in his home game.

Kemba Walker’s injury

Kemba Walker suffers a season-ending injury, what does this mean for the Celtics?
Kemba Walker went down with a knee injury in the Celtics game against the Denver Nuggets on May 12th. This is a devastating blow to the Celtics, as Kemba has been their best player all season. He was averaging 26 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds per game. The Celtics are now without their best player and will have to rely on other players to step up in his absence.

Kemba Walker’s return

Kemba Walker’s return from a knee injury has been nothing short of remarkable. The Charlotte Hornets point guard has been playing at an All-Star level, and he’s currently leading the team in scoring.

Walker underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee in May, and he was originally expected to miss six to eight weeks. However, he made an early return to the court and has been one of the Hornets’ best players this season.

In 27 games, Walker is averaging 22.9 points, 5.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game. He’s also shooting a career-high 46 percent from three-point range.

Given his strong play, it’s no surprise that Walker was recently named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played from December 4-10. He becomes the first Hornets player to receive the honor since the 2014-15 season.

The Hornets have struggled as a team this season, but they’ve been much better with Walker on the court. He’s help lead them to a 14-13 record, and they’ll be looking to keep climbing the standings as he continues to play at a high level.
