Introduction

The National Football League (NFL) is a professional American football league consisting of 32 teams, divided equally between the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC). The NFL is one of the four major professional sports leagues in North America, and the highest professional level of American football in the world. The NFL’s 17-week regular season runs from early September to late December, with each team playing 16 games and having one bye week. Following the conclusion of the regular season, six teams from each conference (four division winners and two wild card teams) advance to the playoffs, a single-elimination tournament culminating in the Super Bowl, which is usually held on the first Sunday in February and is played between the champions of the NFC and AFC.

The league was formed in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association (APFA) before renaming itself the National Football League for the 1922 season. The NFL considered itself a continuation of the earlier league, which had no formal name. The APFA was established by four Midwestern teams: Canton Bulldogs, Akron Pros, Cleveland Indians, and Decatur Staleys (now known as the Chicago Bears). In 1922 it renamed itself as National Football League.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Arizona Cardinals

The San Francisco 49ers will be taking on the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday at 4:05 pm EST. The 49ers are coming off of a loss to the New York Giants, while the Cardinals are coming off of a win against the Seattle Seahawks. Who will come out on top in this matchup?

Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills

The Baltimore Ravens are set to take on the Buffalo Bills this Sunday, October 22nd at 1:00 pm EST. This will be the first time these two teams have faced each other this season. The Ravens are coming off of a tough loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Bills are coming off of a win against the Miami Dolphins.

Miami Dolphins vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The Miami Dolphins take on the Cincinnati Bengals at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, October 7th at 1:00pm ET. This is a divisional matchup between two teams in the AFC East. The Bengals are coming off of a bye week, while the Dolphins are coming off of a loss to the New England Patriots.

The Dolphins are led by quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who has thrown for 1,356 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 5 interceptions so far this season. Fitzpatrick will look to get back on track against a Bengals defense that has been inconsistent this season. The Bengals are led by quarterback Joe Burrow, who has thrown for 1,688 yards, 5 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions so far this season. Burrow will look to take advantage of a Dolphins defense that has struggled at times this season.

The Bengals are 3-point favorites in this game and the over/under is set at 51 points. This should be a close game between two evenly matched teams.

Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions

The Green Bay Packers take on the Detroit Lions in an NFC North matchup Sunday at Lambeau Field.

Both teams are coming off of disappointing losses in Week 1, with the Packers falling to the San Francisco 49ers 33-30 and the Lions losing 27-27 to the Arizona Cardinals.

The Packers will be looking to get back on track against a Lions team that has historically been one of their biggest rivals. The two teams have played each other 183 times since their first meeting in 1930, with the Packers holding a 97-74-12 edge in the series.

The game will kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET and will be televised on Fox.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans

The Indianapolis Colts take on the Houston Texans at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday, October 8th at 1pm ET. The Colts are coming off of a tough loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Texans are coming off of a win against the Dallas Cowboys.

New England Patriots vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The New England Patriots will be taking on the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday in what is sure to be an exciting game. The Patriots are coming off of a big win against the Buffalo Bills, while the Chiefs are coming off of a loss to the Denver Broncos. Both teams will be looking to get back on track this week, so it should be a great game to watch.

New York Jets vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Jets are coming of a disappointing loss to the Ravens in which their offense looked sluggish, and their defense got gashed for over 200 yards on the ground. Head coach Todd Bowles will be looking to get his team back on track against a Rams team that is coming off a tough loss to the Saints. The Rams offense looked out of sync against New Orleans, and they will be looking to get back on track against a Jets defense that was just shredded by the Ravens rushing attack. This should be a great game, and it will be interesting to see how these two teams respond after tough losses last week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Minnesota Vikings

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the Minnesota Vikings at 10:00 a.m. EST on Sunday, December 23rd. The game will be broadcast on FOX.

New Orleans Saints vs. New York Giants

The New Orleans Saints will be playing the New York Giants on Sunday at 3:25 pm. The Saints have a record of 9-3 and are coming off of a victory against the Carolina Panthers. The Giants have a record of 5-7 and are coming off of a loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The first game of NFL Week 10 will see the struggling Jacksonville Jaguars travel to Lincoln Financial Field to take on the Philadelphia Eagles. The Jaguars come into this contest with a record of 2-6, while the Eagles are 3-5.

This will be a matchup of two teams that are heading in opposite directions. The Jaguars have lost four consecutive games, while the Eagles have won three in a row.

The Jaguars have been decimated by injuries this season, and they will be without several key players for this contest. Starting quarterback Nick Foles is out with a broken collarbone, and backup Blake Bortles has been ineffective in his place. Receiver Allen Hurns is also out, and running back T.J. Yeldon is listed as doubtful.

The Eagles have been able to overcome injuries to key players, and they will be close to full strength for this contest. Quarterback Carson Wentz has thrown for over 2,000 yards and 17 touchdowns, and he will have plenty of weapons to work with in the passing game. Receiver Alshon Jeffery is back from injury, and he will be joined by Nelson Agholor and Zach Ertz. Running back Jordan Howard should also be able to find some success against a Jaguars defense that has struggled against the run.

The Eagles are 9-point favorites at home, and they should be able to win this game comfortably.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks (-2.5) will look to stay atop the NFC West standings when they travel to face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The Seahawks have won four of their last five games, with their only loss coming against the Los Angeles Rams in a close game. The Cowboys, on the other hand, have struggled as of late, losing three of their last four games. However, all three of those losses have come against teams that are currently in playoff position.

Despite their recent struggles, the Cowboys are still a good team, and they will be looking to exact revenge against the Seahawks after Seattle beat them 24-13 back in September. This should be a great game between two NFC powerhouses, and it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Tennessee Titans

The Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Tennessee Titans this Sunday. The Titans are coming off a tough loss to the Indianapolis Colts, while the Steelers are coming off a win against the Cleveland Browns. Both teams will be looking to get back into the win column this Sunday.

Carolina Panthers vs. Washington Redskins

After a one-win season in 2019, the Carolina Panthers are looking to rebuild under new head coach Matt Rhule. They’ll have their work cut out for them in Week 1, as they face a Washington Redskins team that went 9-7 last year and just missed the playoffs. The Panthers will be led by quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who signed with the team this offseason after spending the past two years with the New Orleans Saints. The Redskins will counter with quarterback Dwayne Haskins, who showed promise as a rookie last season. This should be an interesting matchup between two young quarterbacks looking to prove themselves in 2020.

Monday’s Game

The New Orleans Saints will be taking on the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game on Sunday, January 20th at 3:00pm EST. This will be a rematch of their Week 1 game where the Packers came out on top, but the Saints have since then gone on to win 13 straight games.

Cleveland Browns vs. San Diego Chargers

The Cleveland Browns take on the San Diego Chargers this Sunday in an AFC matchup. The Browns (2-11) are coming off a tough loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Chargers (4-9) are coming off a bye week.

The Browns have had a tough season, but they’ve shown some fight recently. They nearly upset the Steelers last week, and they’ll be looking to get back on track against the Chargers.

The Chargers, meanwhile, have been one of the biggest disappointments in the NFL this season. They were expected to compete for a playoff spot, but they’ve struggled mightily. They’ll be looking to get back on track against the Browns.

This should be a close game, but ultimately, we think the Browns will come out on top.
